Cowboys WR says pop star affecting Romo's focus
Posted: Wednesday December 19, 2007 3:44PM; Updated: Wednesday December 19, 2007 3:58PM

IRVING, Texas (AP) -- Terrell Owens has a message for Jessica Simpson: Stay away.

Simpson has become Public Enemy No. 1 among Dallas Cowboys fans because of a link being made between her appearance at Sunday's game and the poor performance of her new boyfriend, quarterback Tony Romo.

"Right now, Jessica Simpson is not a fan favorite -- in this locker room or in Texas Stadium," Owens said Wednesday.

The Cowboys lost 10-6 to the Philadelphia Eagles and Romo had what was statistically the worst game of his career, all while Simpson sat in a luxury box wearing a pink No. 9 jersey she proudly showed off for television cameras.

The problem for her is, Romo's previous worst game came last December at home to the Eagles when then-girlfriend Carrie Underwood was in attendance.

"With everything that has happened, obviously with the way Tony played and the comparison between her and Carrie Underwood, I think a lot of people feel she has taken his focus away," Owens said, echoing the chatter on sports-talk radio and blogs. "Other than that, she was high on my list until last week.

"Oh, I got a message for her when we make the playoffs. Just stay tuned."

No doubt Romo isn't going to appreciate TO or anyone else telling his cock garage to stay away..

What a fucking non-story. T.O. was joking with reporters, holding court.

I can't believe sportscenter and PTI is running with this eOnline story.

Douchebags, one and all.

Really? That program stresses no limits when it comes to soap opera-esque, bullshit non-stories. Of course, Sportscenter ditched sports reporting a long time ago. That's why they created ESPNNEWS.

Jessica is like some Memo Paris "draining" his energy and giving out bad karma.

Roma: "I coulda been better. I coulda broke every record in the book."
Bio writer: "And then?"
Roma: "And then? And then when I walked down the street people would've looked and they would've said there goes Tony Roma, the best there ever was in this game.
Bio writer: "What happened?"
Roma: "Dick got in the way."

slow sports day, but one has to admit, the bitch be fine.

Gotta' RACK Romo for hitting on that piece of tail, even if it caused a bad outing.

Elway would shack up with Simpson, but he doesn't believe in dating outside his own species.

Cowboy fan better hope that Romo's thumb injury isn't at all like the one Favre suffered a couple of years ago. Favre played through it, but you never knew for sure where his passes were going to wind up. He never really healed up till the off-season.

Cowboys will be in trouble should they struggle and lose the last two games. It will not be pretty should they have to travel to Green Bay for the NFC title game.

I know that.

Side note:

My cousin just got back from Lambeau. He went to the Raiders game. He said it topped any sporting event he had ever been to. I'm looking forward to taking a trip up there for the Texans game next season. Should be good.

Brett Favre vs Kyle Orton? You’re right, that’s a tough call.

I was talking to a tard.

Then another one butted in.

OK. I’ll take the Packer receivers over the Bear receivers and the Packer defense over the Bear defense. Grant vs AP might be kind of a wash.

Bad teams have a tendency to mail it in late in the year... especially when they're beset with injuries AND have 'Cowboy' Bob Orton as their starting fucking QB. Rivalry game or no, earlier game this season or no, this will be a blowout. Why? In large part, because there's quite a disparity in talent between the QBs.

Another example, Brady vs Chad Lemond. Nuff said. Does it matter who the fuck else takes the field? I will be at Gillette come Sunday and I will tell Bob Lemon he's an integral part of the team, nay, LEAGUE! "You're a somebody, Chester LaMond!"... because BeSmacked said so.

God, you're a sniveling little cunt of he-beast.

In week 5 GB outgained the Bears by 150 yds, led by 10 at the half, turned the ball over 5 times, and lost by 7.

Considering the likely motivations of the respective teams at this time, I highly doubt the same scenario will take place this time around.

Packers win comfortably.

Who's crying now bitch?

You see, this is what happens when tards use the ESPN promotional matchup style of handicapping football. They take the most important position, like QB, and say "Hey! Team A has such a HUGE advantage at QB over team B that Team A HAS to win."

Well guess what? Football is still the ultimate team game. And your team just got exposed as incapable of winning a "gimme" game. Now go fuck yourself.

Absolutely sparkling analysis.

Well, if you're a complete dumbfuck.

Did you forget that Kyle Orton went 11-4 as a starter his rookie year? He now has a 3-0 record against Brett Favre. Handicap that one asshole.

Did Orton go 11-4 or did the team? Does Orton own a 3-0 record against Favre or does the team any credit whatsoever? For a cunt who was bleating about the importance of the 52 other players on the Bears, you sure as heck seem to be mentioning one player and one player only. Maybe Orton's QB play is integral to the Bears success? Hhhhmmmmm... Of course, copping to that now would be the ultimate form of KYOA, so I look forward to your pending spin-job.

There were 2 points to be made there. One, that Orton's presence was not a kiss of death, I made well enough. The other, that the Bears are a better team than you gave them credit for, I should have emphasized more.

Sorry to disapoint you, Brian, well, no, I'm not sorry at all. I'm also not crying over the Packers losing a meaningless game. I watch very little ESPN, other than actual live games. So if ESPN was hyping this game as Brett Favre vs Kyle Orton, I wasn't aware of it.

If you hadn't noticed I was simply exchanging one-liners with CrumpledShitstain and maybe Headhunter. I honestly believed that the Packers (all 53 of them) would show up to play, but based on the "discussion" we were having, a simple one-line Favre/Orton reply seemed appropriate.

I'm sorry that ESPN talking heads seems to chafe your vagina as much as they do, but try doing what I do: ignore them. Or maybe you're just gripping over a potential playoff schedule of Jacksonville, Indy and New England.

I was optimistic about the Packers still gaining homefield for the playoffs, but it's not to be. I'm still extremely optimistic about their chances of getting to the Super Bowl. Now that game should be a gimmie.
