The management and agricultural workers of Ohyon-ri rose as one with a patriotic mind to turn their native place into a paradise.
Farmers go to work, full of confidence and optimism.
Conscious of being responsible for the supply of rice to the nation they have carried much manure to the fields every year to increase the grain output and fertilized land. And they have striven to place farm work on a scientific basis.
They built several pumping stations in a short period to solve the water problem and laid a material and technical foundation for doing farming easily by furnishing the mechanized workteam with enough facilities.
By their devoted efforts rapid progress has been made in grain production.
They had no experience in construction. Nevertheless, they set a goal of making their native place a modern socialist village in keeping with the requirements of the times and worked hard to achieve it.
Evening full of joy.
Their patriotic devotion was fully displayed when the country was on the “arduous march” and forced march.
Full of confidence in the bright future, they furnished several facilities for the production of building materials and solved materials needed for construction by themselves.
Pooling their efforts and wisdom they have built many dwelling houses and public establishments including a house of culture, ri clinic, schools, a 10-day kindergarten and welfare service facilities. They will be flawless even in the remote future.
Now every farmhouse is full of happy laughter and farmers work merrily in the standardized fields like chequer boards by the help of machines.
