A few stocks we've been watching.

US Geothermal (UGTH)-I think we might buy them next month, if they keep moving up. Definitely a stock for us to watch.

Abraxas Petroleum (ABP)-Bought in this morning. Had initial surge so our in price (placed last night, btw) was about .10 over yesterday's close. Still, it was on a top 50 hot stocks list. Very affordable, if that's your thing.

Ottertail (OTTR)-Energy company. Something for future considerations, to be sure.

Qiagen (QGEN)-Molecular sciences. Some experts say to stay away, but it's been growing nicely in the past few weeks. We might've missed our window. We'll see how it does in the next month.

Republic Services Inc. (RSG)-Garbage hauling. I heard of through a list of stocks that Buffet invested into. I think that makes it worth a look. Strong performance, thus far.

Also, we've been very extremely happy since buying Intel (INTC). It's been outperforming our old stock (CAB), which btw, is down about 2.00 since we sold. Good sell/buy combo.

Finally, Hillary was in town at Clipper Wind the other day (CRPWF). The stock is worth a look, at least. Spiked about a month ago. Wish we had it about two minutes before then (and sold immediately after the spike). I hear that wind power isn't very dependable as an investment, however. Doesn't perform like solar.

Interesting stocks,my opinions are if I was looking to buy tomorow and only tommorow,nothing long term.

UGTH: Might be played out,big drop today (8%)like a lot of other stocks,Id wait for what tommorrow brings.

ABP: Looks good to me,watch for weakness

OTTR: No,wait to buy

QGEN: This one looks interesting,they even have a P.R. they just put out this morning about how there product prevents cervical cancer

RSG: No, wait to buy

GS - Goldman Sachs - Buy point targeted at $190 - the only one of the big brokerages that didn't get hit in the subprime fiasco
BGC - General Cable Corp - Buy at $64 - One of the best plays on the worldwide infrastucture build out
LIFC - Lifecell - Buy Target $38.40 - Soft tissue replacement / skin grafts
BUCY - Bucyrus - Mining equipment - No realistic target price defined yet (my charts say a pullback to $70) - it's too close to 52 week highs - but just phenomenal growth

I saw a woman on The Nightly Business report on Wednesday have Goldman Sachs as a BUY recomendation. I cant remember what her price target was.
