Its a recession

Post by RumpleForeskin »

All the markets have broken the support line from last year. This does not bode well for the rest of '08. The first two weeks is usually the indicator for how the year will go. Brace yourself boys. We're in for a nasty 2008.

Allocate some of your money to non-publicly traded REITs and Bonds. Maybe some hedge funds. Good luck, peeps.

Thanks for the heads-up, Rumps.

Sincerely,

I work for a broker dealer. Our borker dealer offers Alternative investments such as Equipment Leasing Programs, 1031 Exchanges (TICs), Non-Publicly Traded REITs, Debentures, and Oil & Gas Limited Partnerships.

In order to invest in a non-publicly traded REIT, you would have to do it through a broker who has a Series 7 or Series 62 license and his/her BD has a selling agreement with that offering. Its not easy, but I could give you names of all of the companies via PM and you could contact them and see what BDs they will give you contact information for.

Tart, technical analysis showed that the bottom support line for all of '07 was set in August. Until the market(s) breaks those support lines, then you cannot not tag the markets downward turn as a recession. We broke those support line on Wednesday, so nobody really knows what the support line will be set at for the markets.

OK - Now I understand what your talking about.

What type of returns are these seeing - and I'd like to know net - after the BD had taken his commissions / expenses.
I've seen a couple similar type offers - but honestly, they were more VC than anything. And that's way more risk than I'm willing to take.

Drop me a PM and I'll take a look -
