Good position coach who is loved by his players, but in way over his head as a HC. Decent recruiter, pretty good reputation as an RB coach. Very well liked by his peers.

It's always tough to tell exactly how much pressure is weighing on a head coach. I think Bobby Williams wasn't ready to be a head coach for a major program, and his frustration showed, and he started to crack. His infamous press conference where he admitted that he "lost control of the team" sealed his fate.

He'll be fine as a position coach where he can focus on a more specific task.

There are so many uncontrollable variables that go into winning and losing. It's strange how a good system can be implemented, with good coaches, and good players...and yet the losses still mount. Sports are kinda frustrating like that.
