Just wondering. Watching the IU/Wisc game on ESPN now in high def. Great match-up. Not a great game thus far unless you are a Wisky fan.
A&M vs. t.u. last night was #10 vs. #23 but it was not broadcast in widescreen high def. t.u. is a high profile bball program. A&M is getting there. WTF is up with that not being broadcast in ful widescreen high def?
I know IU IS college basketball, but I figure that A&M/t.u. game was worthy of the best broadcast. Any published restrictions on what warrants high def?
Why?

Re: Why?
i would have guessed something like this. some scarcity of hardware/transportation issue. since you assume you got them moving from place A to place B for weekend duty and the upper midwest more on the way this time than central/south Texas.Believe the Heupel wrote:ESPN has a limited number of high def cameras and it takes time to move them around the country?

Re: Why?
I'd be interested in knowing how many HD cameras "the worldwide leader" has in stock.
Speaking of...I know Sony makes a lot of these HD cameras. With the 2009 deadline for all broadcasts to be in HD, I bought some Sony stock awhile back for a little stock game my family plays each year. It's dropped $10 since. Come on ESPN...load up.
