The Google Van Driver is a brave mofo

Post by PSUFAN »

PGH 'hood Activity

The dude gets to drive on each and every street of a city that gets streepmapped. Play around with the cam there and see a drug score in action.

I found this by googling the address named in this article:

http://www.post-gazette.com/pg/08030/85 ... lstate.xml" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Shit, maybe the dead girl is in the pics there.

I'm not a big Death Pool guy, but my entry is the Google Van Driver - "killed in a fusillade of bullets".

I just found my house. I'm officially freaked out.

Wow, Jed Clampett's house goes for a cool $21 million, while Hef's place is a measley $3.6 million. Uncle Jed kicks Hef's ass.

I couldn't get close enough in Google to see Elly Mae out by the ceement pond.

You can see some from the I-15 just south of Escondido where it jumped the freeway. Also a little further north between Mission Road and SR 76 (Pala Road) in Fallbrook. They did a good job spraying the green stuff along there. You can see how it burned just up to the Pala Mesa Golf Course but stopped there. If you get off the 15 at either Mission or SR76 and get on "Old 395" (the frontage to the west of 15), Reche Road goes west about halfway between. Just a mile or so from there you can see the trailer park that was devastated.

I would also suggest going east on SR 76 from I-15. I haven't done this yet but it will take you up towards Palomar Mountain and the La Jolla Indian Reservation where there was a lot of destruction, and then maybe up Cole Grade Road towards Valley Center. I haven't been up there yet but it was where most of the damage from the Poomacha fire happened.

I think Milburn Drysdale should get some credit.
