2007 Patriots - Best Team Ever
...or so ESPN is reporting constantly. I remember just a couple years back when ESPN was coining USC as the best team ever prior to the BCS Championship game. How'd that work out for them?
I'm going to go with the Giants in this one. 31-28

So, are the Pats the Best Team Ever, who just happened to lose the last game of the season?
If not, who was better (besides the 2007 Giants of course)?

Right now the Pats are being taught the secret handshake by the 2001 Seattle Mariners.

Even if they had won this game, the Cheatriots would not have been recognized as one of the best teams ever. Not as good as the '85 Bears, the early '60's Packers, etc. Now they can be recognized as the equal of the 1998 Vikings.

Another excellent job by ESPN.

Actually, I have no doubt in your ability to offer up takeless threads lacking in any substantive reasoning or critical thinking.IndyFrisco wrote:While I got the score wrong, I got the spread right.

USC lost, therefore NE will lose. Not exactly E equals MC squared....
To reiterate, I compared your shit thread to another shit thread authored by a Pats fan who posted a final score... and little else.
In case you missed it, your thread still sucks ass.

Re: 2007 Patriots - Best Team Ever
Not even close on best team ever.
The number 1 ingredient in a best team ever is a mean nasty ass defense. The patsy defense was anything but. They were a pretty decent bend but not break type of D that was good at slowing down the opposition enough to ensure that their high octane O took care of bidness. This bunch is getting old and it showed late last night.
I gotta go with the 70s steelers as best since they had that type of D. The 85 bears had a nastier D, but didn't have the squealers O. The raven D from a few years back was also pretty scary and proved that you can get it done with basically no offense at all.

Re: 2007 Patriots - Best Team Ever
I posted a winner and a score. I was right on the winner and the spread of my score. Why Shoalzie up my thread with the same shit you hear on tv and radio about how the Giants D needs to step up, the Giants O needs to pound them with Jacobs? Blah blah blah. It is pointless to try to predict play by play and tards who try to are just that...tards.ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:Actually, I have no doubt in your ability to offer up takeless threads lacking in any substantive reasoning or critical thinking.IndyFrisco wrote:While I got the score wrong, I got the spread right.

I did not say the Cheatriots would lose because USCN lost to t.u. I said the feeling was eerily familiar to back then. I have thought all along that the Giants were the better team and would win. Therefore, I called my shot. They proved me right.
