SB commercials thread.

Post by smackaholic »

Overall, a pretty mediocre showing. My favorite is the fat dude that jump starts the car with his man teats.

Sorry, but when it comes to caring about Super Bowl commercials, my Give a Fuck meter is broken. Just trying to understand the demographic of those who do.

I'm not one of those that watch the game for the commercials, but, they are there and occasionally can be funny as shit.

I didn't turn on the tube until ( what I thought would be) game time, and I see they are reenacting the signing of the declaration of independence. WTF was that all about? I had a hard time caring about some overproduced melodrama with look-alike D list actors of a story I learned in grade school, so I muted the fucker. Was that supposed to be some Pseudo artsy "Patriot" Theme?

And the commercials were OVERKILL this year. It seemed every time a player fell on his ass and didn't get up right away, they cut to commercial.

Thanks to TIVO, I breezed thru the second half, anyway.

This may have already been said, but, I watched the SB with my sixty-seven year old Father and we conceded that if you watch the adverts you are a card issued cock inhaler.

I believe this to be true because, one, he's that old. Oh, and two, he has enough class to never speak that way in front of my beloved wife.

I respect ryan semencrest's analysis of the game more than your's could ever be.

Talk among yourself, please.

Memo to anyone other than above mentioned tail pirate, great freaking game and I enjoyed the hell out of it and admire both teams. I'm an ex-Oiler fan and have now come to stop being a homer because right now the Texans suck worse than the Oilers did.

I give major congrats to both teams and all I did was pick G-men to cover!!!

I stayed home, I stayed relatively sober and I had the best time watching old school f-ball with my oldman while my Mother kept my limey entertained watching Cash in the attic marathon.

Life is good!!!

So, what did you boys do during the commercials besides comment on the utter faggotry of them?

Watching the ads is one thing. You're bound to see a few of them. But starting a thread to TALK about which crappy ad was not as crappy as the other crappy ads is just the kind of behavior I would expect from a confirmed American Idol fan.

Rack it, bro.

I had to work during the game, but there were TVs around and all of them were tuned to the game with the sound down. During the commercials, some of my co-workers turned up the volume to watch the fucking commercials. A few of the commercials were mildly entertaining, but it was as if some of my co-works laughed out loud because, well, the ads are supposed to be funny.

Fucking idiots. Sorry, but the day I crack up at any commercial during the SB will be the day I find Rosie O'Donnell physically attractive. As in, never.

There have have been superbowl commercials in the past that were funny. Therre were a few in this one that were mildly amusing. The ones that bother me the most are the beer ones. They are getting soooooo fukking corny and stupid that you think it's their actual intent to do do them that way. I would recommend to budweiser that they immediately cancel their advertising program and maybe spend a few more dollar on using decent ingredients in their swill.

Do they really think there is a single person out there that says, damn, that was a funny commercial, I think I'll go out and buy a six pack of their intolerable watered down piss.
