You do realize that you're in a no-win situation with "The Cheater" as head coach, right? That even had you won the Super Bowl, it would have been a win as tainted as your past three are about to become?

You also realize that "The Cheater" is going to become as big of a traveling circus freak act this year as Barry Bonds has been the past few while chasing Hank Aarons 755?
I wait until the whole story comes out but if its PROVEN that BB is the cheat that is alleged I am turning in my Pats gear until he is no longer at the helm. A major fuckup is one thing, a PROVEN legacy of fraud I will not support. I await the PROOF . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

What more proof do you want? Goodell testified that the destroyed videotapes contained game footage going back to the 2000 season.

More news from fanball.
Belichick, Kraft sued over tapings
The News
A lawsuit filed Friday by a group of former St. Louis Rams player seeks millions of dollars in damages, according to the Canadian Press. The suit originates from the alleged taping of Rams practices by the New England Patriots prior to the 2002 Super Bowl. The $100-million suit, filed on behalf of former Rams player Willie Gary, was submitted in a New Orleans U.S. District Court.
Our View
The suit names the Patriots, team owner Robert Kraft and head coach Bill Belichick. The Patriots have yet to comment.
SpyGate protection sought by Walsh
The News
The AP Wire reports that the lawyer for former New England Patriots employee Matt Walsh is assisting his client -- who is in search of protection and guarantees against expected lawsuits concerning SpyGate. Walsh is willing to turn over tapes in his possession that contain footage of the St. Louis Rams' walkthrough practice the day before they played the Patriots in the 2002 Super Bowl with conditions. Walsh is reportedly looking for the NFL to guarantee him protection from lawsuits or other legal action.
Our View
This is just the first chapter of SpyGate, and for those who thought Roger Clemens was on the hot seat this past week, Patriots head man Bill Belichick could find himself in a similar situation... and soon.
The more news that comes out, the uglier the situation looks. The NFL appears to be in cover up mode to protect the integrity of league history...........

What's a bit curious to me is that all these stories come out after the season is over. I wonder how much of this we'd have heard about had the Pats actually won the SB?

Strange days indeed.

The fact that Goodell brazenly destroyed evidence ought to tell anyone with an ounce of common sense all they need to know about what the league's interest is.

It ain't the fuckin' fans (LOL) and it sure as shit isn't legitimate sports competition, nor has it been for a very long time.

Wakey wakey??

Show me the money.

Trev, we do watch ... so far.

Primary reason being, football is a highly entertaining spectator sport, and it shows very well on tv.
It shows on tv better than almost any other sport, IMO.

We watch for those reasons, by and large, NOT because it is the National Football League.

I watch in spite of the league.
The overall GAME is still interesting to me, despite the fact that I know it is fixed, to 'some' degree.

There IS a line in the sand, however.

And for me personally, the league is pushing me closer and closer to that line.
