Seth Davis and Doug Gottlieb make an ugly couple

Post by TheJON »

Both are crying about Iowa getting in. Davis has been bitching that Indiana didn't get in, but Iowa did. What an absolute load of horseshit.

Indiana did have a better conference record, but that's all they have scoreboard on Iowa.

Iowa- 21-11
Indiana- 15-13

SCOREBOARD:
Iowa 72
Indiana 55

Iowa has more quality wins, a higher RPI, better overall record, more Top 25 wins, more wins over NCAA tournament teams, beat Indiana in their only meeting by 17 points.

Davis can go fuck himself- if his dick isn't stuck inside Doug Gottlieb's ass.

These guys know nothing about college hoops (especially Gottlieb). They clearly don't actually watch any games. Gottlieb tried rambling on about his take on the Iowa-MSU game, and he was basically making shit up about the game. If you don't watch the game, don't fucking comment on what you didn't see.

To Mr and Mrs. Seth Gottlieb....

BOO-FUCKING-HOO
WE GOT IN
SO FUCK YOU!

Because he played, that means he knows more than I do? Listen to the idiot talk sometime and you'll realize he doesn't even watch any of the fucking games, he just reads something off the teleprompter. The best analysts are those that never played.

Cicero,

You do realize that Billy Packer was a former star at Wake Forest, don't you???

and Frozen,

Just because I'm a moron doesn't mean Doug Gottlieb isn't a bigger moron. Watch him sometime and tell me he's actually giving his own takes and not just reading something ESPN wrote for him to read off a teleprompter. It's very easy to tell he doesn't know his stuff just by listening to him talk.

Since I'm such a moron and Gottlieb is not, you tell me Frozen, do you agree or disagree that Iowa deserved to get in?

RPI- 41
Overall Record- 21-11
Quality Wins- Iowa State, Texas, Texas Tech, Louisville, Ohio State, Michigan State, Minnesota, Indiana, Air Force, Northern Iowa
Bad Losses- Michigan, Northwestern, Purdue
Big-10 Record- 7-9
Non-Conference SOS- 8

Are you telling me that's not an NCAA tournament resume???? If you say it's not, perhaps you're the moron and not me. Sure, the Big-10 record is not good, but shit happens when you lose your best player. The fact is, throughout the entire season, we played well. And we rebounded well at the end and have won 5 out of 6 games and only 1 of those wins came at home.

Doug Gottlieb read off his teleprompter that Iowa should not have gotten in. That's just fucking retarded.

See ya in the Sweet 16.....maybe!

Gottleib is interesting.

insofar as he WILL say something interesting and insightful about the game that tells you that what happens on the high level D-1 court with a great coach is miles above what hamheads like me and you in front of the TV could ever dream.......there IS all this chess match on the floor and players are part of it.

and it's hard to grasp for the outsider, but ever so beautiful nonetheless.......as a fan of the game you want to believe it so bad...

and then he will say something totally stupid.

First off, Frozen....

Cincinnati was a better team. Plain and simple.

What does the Iowa-Cincy game have to do with Iowa deserving to be in the tourney? I thought the criteria for gettting in was based on your REGULAR SEASON performance?????

Does every team that gets whooped in the first round prove they didn't deserve to be there? No.

So, yes, I still say that we deserved to be there.

And as for tOSU not being a quality win...

They would have been a tourney team if they were eligible, FYI.
