UWC comes to DC

Im helping promote this event with my childhood friend Marcello. Anyone who can give us support would be nails!

If you're too old to get in there and hook it up, being a promoter is the next best thing.


One of my old buddies and longtime training partner (who has hooked it up with guys like Rickson Gracie and Vitor Belforte, and many others you've heard of, and gave them all they could handle... before eventually tapping) managed a tittybar. Actually, it's the biggest, fanciest, high-dollarest TTB in the region. Anyhoo, he put together and promoted an MMA event, in a big tent in the parking lot. I forget the exact numbers, but he said they made some pretty huge coin out of the deal... actually, said the event would have been a huge financial succes if they'd let everyone in free from just the draft beer sales.

Obviously, he had the advantage of very little in the way of venue fees (tent rental, mostly), and had full control of the concessions, which is obviously a guge financial boost.

But, the point being, there's money to be made, without question.
