The guy got famous for being a freaking "law and order" bulldog and campaigned on that holier-than-thou crap. He promised a new, open form of NY government.
Instead, he tried ramming the drivers' licenses for ilegals down our throats despite oppositon from ...well...everyone, misused his authority to investigate and attempt to smear GOP legislators (and got caught), and now this.
Spitzer is a hypocritical scumbag and should resign.

He's been an absolute clusterfuck and an embarrassment to the citizens of NY and the Democratic party since the day he took office. Shocking since nothing in his past resume gave any hint to the level of incompetence and malfeasance he would "rise" to in one short year as Governor. Thankfully this scandal should remove him cleanly from the political scene. One can only hope that David Paterson will do a better job.
