Re: 2008 schedule
You do know who your team is already playing, right?
Its kinda cool the Texans finished last place in the division with an 8-8 mark and their two non-fixed games are against Miami and Oakland.
The NFC North is the AFC South's opponent this year which means Houston is playing at the frozen tundra. I might have to spend the jack just to go to that game.
Maybe Goobs will buy me a beer.

I’m actually looking for the Cowboys’ schedule. I want to take my wife to a game in Dallas this year, and need to plan for what weekend that would be.RumpleForeskin wrote:You do know who your team is already playing, right?

You’d have to stop in Madison for the beer. I’m not driving all the way to Green Bay to watch a game that’s fixed. I assume that means the Packers are going to win, BTW.

Re: 2008 schedule
I mean 'fixed' within in the confines of the NFL schedule.
Example:
AFC Sout plays 6 divisional games, 4 games against the AFC North, 4 games against the NFC North and the last two are the "random" (non-fixed) games which are the teams who finished last place in their divisions within their conference.
Oh and screw you for not at least meeting me in Osh Kosh, bastard.

They won Nationals this year in the high-school coed cheerleading competition in Orlando. Don't ask me how I know that.Goober McTuber wrote:Sun Prairie.

So...you ignore the cheerleaders, and festoon your wife with attention? The more's the merrier, I guess.

NFL Schedule doesn't come out for another three weeks. The question was asked and answered. Might just as well trots this thread if it's on topic football talk you want.Headhunter wrote:<gentlewarning>Let's get this thread back to NFL talk...</gentlewarning>

I don't care what the topic is... We're cracking down on smack just for smacks sake in the NFL forum.
We can go to Cul-de-smack to tell Todd to kill himself.
I'm not trying to be a hard ass, I'm trying to set reasonable expectations without being a Nazi. I'm pointing out the stuff we're trying to limit.

Re: 2008 schedule
I agree with you. I'm just saying this thread has already exhausted it's topical subject matter. Commenting on the particulars of a team's schedule is kind of hard when you don't know the actual order of the schedule or when the bye week is going to play into it. There's really nothing else to say, so I won't.Headhunter wrote:I don't care what the topic is... We're cracking down on smack just for smacks sake in the NFL forum.

Try turning on ESPN or the NFL Network. They'll be happy to tell you that the NFL Schedule should be coming out in the next two to three weeks. There is no exact timetable for its release.Goober McTuber wrote:Well, is it 4:30 PM central time? Seems awful late for somebody to be working at the NFL office. Not true...the only way for the Chiefs to go is UP. Meanwhile perhaps you should be worried about your pretty boy QB and his propensity for gacking playoff games.
P.S.- HH, keep up the good work. The forum has been MUCH better as of late.

Re: 2008 schedule
Paul, you really want me to worry about a team that went 13-3 and lost to the eventual superbowl champs? Sorry bud, but I have all the confidence that the Boys are heading in the right direction. As far as your squad of slunts, they will take it a step further and take one in the turd cutter from any squad that can field a JV team or better (Raiders?).RevLimiter wrote:Not true...the only way for the Chiefs to go is UP. Have fun watching your abortion of a squad. 4-12 sounds just about right.
Now do you want to send me 10 more dollars and throw a wager on the Boys having double digit wins this season?

We'll see. I think Romo is going to have a hell of a year. And if you actually watched that Giants game, it wasn't Romo dropping passes, committing stupid penalties, and missing blocks.

Cowboys get screwed with only 1 monday night game. I attribute that with having to play the NFC West and AFC North. Probably the two worst divisions in all of football.
Well Q it looks like its on like donkey kong to start the season.

I think the Packers drew a bit of a tough schedule. Dallas and Indy at home, road trips to Seattle, Tennessee and Jacksonville. Combined record of non-divisional opponents is 92-68.
