Just because Ferraro was a token doesn't mean Obama is. Unlike Ferraro, Obama has ran against and beaten all comers.

Not Jack Ryan.

It takes a smear job to empower a twinkie. Or in Hitlery's case, Cancer.

Of course he's a token. If he was white, he would be nothing more than another empty suit babbling from the wingnut left.* He has absolutely nothing going for him other than the fact that he is a n...igger who can speak in complete sentences.

*See Dennis Kookcinich.
You can call Obama lucky for scoring the keynote speech at the 04 convention. Of course at the time he was engaged in a key Senate race and the party rightly decided to give him a high profile. It is that speech and his subsequent landlside election victory that put Obama in the position to run for President, not the fact that he is black.

If he was white, he'd be just another obscure ward-heeler from Chicago waiting his turn at the trough.
There's no empirical evidence to back your claim. Period. The only thing Obama's blackness has secured for him is a disproportionate share of the black vote. It does not explain why educated whites are voting for him in huge numbers.

My apologies, Mikey. I forgot you consider yourself to be among the educated for some strange reason
