Props to Kansas

Post by indyfrisco »

Damn fine game. We played our best possible game, and it just wasn't enough. Kansas played awesome too, and Rush pwned. The pick and roll killed us all night. Big men throwing them down with no challenge. Ouch. In all honesty, I would have loved to win, but if we lost I would rather it be to you than an emotional rivalry loss to t.u.

Anyone who still says A&M is a team that does not belong in the tourney can speak up here. And whilst doing so, list the teams ahead of them that should go.

RPI - 40
SOS - 64
Wins - 24
Big XII RPI - 2
Big XII Tourney - T-3 w/OU

As I said before, if we went one and done in the XII tourney, we'd be bubble. We're a lock now. Prolly an 8 seed.

doesn't hurt you beat Baylor in Waco and KSU in the last 10 days. interesting situation, the Beasley factor versus the "feel good" Baylor story/they were even talking about Drew as NCOY in ESPN2 today (i'd vote Barnes out of the XII so not Drew)....but, gotta think the CU loss may prove costly for the Bears. though, IMO, KSU is the one that faded down the stretch more than BU. maybe.

too bad for them, i kinda like watching BU play....it's usually pretty damned exciting and Jerrells is a real fine college player.

Damn good game between KU and Texas today, though the final 10 point margin looks more lopsided than the game really was.

Being Mizzoufan, it's genetically bred into me to hate on Jayhawks with every fiber of my being...

...but damnit, KU is fucking LOADED.

Great to have the Big XII tourney back in KC. I've been seeing fans all over town this week-end, spending money like they'll just go home and pick some more once they're done. The KC economy, and especially the casino's, thank you. Hope you had a great time.
