CINCINNATI (AP)—The Cincinnati Bengals have released wide receiver Chris Henry after his fifth arrest since 2005.

The 24-year-old Henry is accused of punching an 18-year-old man in the face and breaking his car window with a beer bottle. Police said he surrendered after a warrant was issued for his arrest on charges of misdemeanor assault and criminal damaging.

Bengals president Mike Brown said in a statement that Henry had forfeited his career with the club.

Henry was suspended by NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for the first half of last season for repeatedly violating the league’s conduct policy.

I love it when guys have a fucking cash register for a job and piss away because they can't check themselves at home.

Of course, it being the NFL and all, had he punched his 18 y/o girlfriend in the face, he would have been sent to therapy and everything would have been kosher. But since he's out there basically acting like a violent thug felon, punching dudes in the face and causing mayhem, he can't go the spousal/significant other-abuse path. See, there's a special kind of therapy for that type of person...it's called prison. What a fucking tool.

Cincinnati WLWT.com has released a report regarding an incident last week at BANG nightclub, involving three Cincinnati players, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. During closing time police escorted Chris Henry, Chris Perry and Domata Peko, out of the club. Charges have not been filed pending the settlement of punitive damages.

OUT-FREAKING-STANDING!!! Cincinnati has a nightclub called "BANG". You probably thought I was going to say "Chris Henry was a complete dipshit," but I think even his "my son's a good boy"-enabling Moms thinks he's a piece of shit thug felon at this point.

I mean, I get, to a certain extent, why African-Americans who grow up in poor neighborhoods, after being oppressed as a people for two centuries and forced into sub-standard public housing and the worst public schools in the nation, would get tired of being treated like second-class citizens and lash out at a society they they feel has left them behind. <---------Pssst...just seeing if mvscal or Pickle are reading.

But Henry, in his adult life anyway, has suffered none of those setbacks, yet continues to act with the mindset that the world around him in reality is just like the set of future Detroit in "Robocop", where you can just punch the shit out of any random person on the skreet, smash a store window and take a TV with this dude:



...screaming, "I'll buy that for a dollar. HAHAHAHA!", and just walk off.

I guess the most amusing part about the story is that the one that got him in shitcanned, the altercation with the 18 y/o, happened after the incident at the nightclub involving cops and (evidently) damage to the club caused either directly or as a result of the behavior of Henry and Co. Maybe he figured he was going to get a pink slip anyway, so he might as well go get fucked up at a club and nail some groupie skank for the last time blast an 18 y/o male in the face for little-to-no apparent reason. Hope his wax on/wax off skills are well-honed, as they'll come in handy at his new job detaling cars. Dummy.
