for me
this week signals the actual start of the golfing season with the first major of the year......a tradition unlike any other The Masters
lets change it up and ask the really important question first.....what will Zach Johnson's Masters Champions Dinner choice be?
second, weigh in on your choice of who this years winner will be......
thirdly, who's your darkhorse....
Me, I'll go with roasted leg of lamb for the Champions Dinner...
Earl and Kultida's boy as the winner.....
KJ Choi as my darkhorse...

Re: for me
1. Pizza and Wings
2. Eldrick
3. Geoff Ogilvy
BTW: I would like nothing better than to see KJ Choi win the Masters. I will never forget him during the Wednesday practice round at the 2003 PGA Championship.
He signed more hats, flags and programs between two holes than the rest of his group did the whole day. And he repeated the act between every hole he played. And, out of the 100 or so PGA players I saw during that practice round, he was the only one who actually stopped to sign between holes. The rest of the guys did the usual sign and walk deal. He acted the way you wish all professional athletes would act towards their fans.

If you bet against Tiger, youre a fool.
Dark horse... some forgotten badass... I'll go with Elkington.

Re: for me
Zach Johnson’s from Iowa, so I’ll guess he’s serving pork and corn.
The winner will be packing Stanley Q Pickle’s favorite snack in his shorts.
Dark horse would be Els.
Nice to see that they’re televising the par 3 tournament this year.

Re: for me
Zach's successful roots come from his days as a Hooter's Tour legend, so dinner will be a bucket of wings, curly fries, and some sandy celery.
Ranger Rick will win it.

Re: for me
Anybody ask rory after he won the par 3 contest if he felt that was indicative of how the field has caught up to Tiger and how Tiger is more beatable than ever?

Re: for me
I'm sure that while everybody else had the par 3 contest in it's proper perspective (kids and caddies hitting shots, putting, etc.) Rory was grinding over everyone of those meaningless 10 footers, because that's the way he rolls....I wonder if he knows that no winner of the Par 3 has ever gone on to win the tournament itself....IndyFrisco wrote:Anybody ask rory after he won the par 3 contest if he felt that was indicative of how the field has caught up to Tiger and how Tiger is more beatable than ever?

btw, the part that was removed by the incompetent moderator was simply Zach's Dinner choice, which was beef and shrimp (yummy I'll bet)
