Edwards endorses Obama; Edwards crowd boos Clinton's name

Post by Risa »

The netroots riots. Edwards's pledged delegates go to Obama. Clinton hasn't been heard from yet. Meanwhile, NARAL is still getting hundreds of angry online letters from feminists for daring to endorse Obama over Clinton.

Since Richardson is 'Judas', what choice words will the Clintons have for Edwards, since they're responsible for making him in the first place (allegedly) and were trying so hard to get Edwards to swing for Hillary?

and on another tangent, how does Elizabeth feel about Michelle now? How many ashtrays will fly at Bill's head tonight, over/under? What's the updated Las Vegas odds on that 'something happening' Clinton surrogates have been hinting at occuring to Obama the past week? How will Clinton bow out?

I'm pretty sure the Lakers will win by at least 10 tonight, unless Kobe's back acts up too much.

None. Hillary is about to throw in the towel. Most "pundits" are talking about as early as next week after Kentucky and Oregon. I think she'll hang until then and regardless of the outcome, surrender and get completely and totally behind Obama. She cautioned her supporters to make sure they don't switch to McCain if she loses the nomination today. I just get the vibe, she's on her way to realizing - reality.

If he wins, he gets a lock on four years. Maximum of eight. Hillary might be thinking long term now. Imagine BSmack's wet dream, eight years of Obama and eight more of Hillary.

16 years of "peace and prosperity" are on the horizon. I'm pretty stoked. The world will love us again, Muslims far and wide will embrace us with open arms and the milk and honey will flow once more. I saw surveyors out today on the road, no doubt planning to repave the street with gold.

Obama '08 is on it's way to an anything you look at near you.

People still follow basketball? I guess they do. I'm glad Kobe has grown up mentally. I don't look forward to the Lakers winning anything. They have enough championships. Kobe can be happy with his MVP, and that should be enough for that organization. I'm sorry Lebron got into an argument with his own mother so publically.

I'm stoked, too, Tom. Hillary should have bowed out long before this. Do you see where she's using Florida and Michigan, without caucus votes, as her basis for claiming that she's won the popular vote over Obama? She's touched in the head. And saying that she'll wait for Oregon..... I don't believe it. I thought she was going to wait until Puerto Rico, since Puerto Rico is firmly in her hand in spite of their governor endorsing Obama. But other than that, I agree with everything you've written.

Peace and love, Tom -- even if you don't like Reverend Wright. Peace and Love. Much hugs, and much love.

And mvscal, please explain how Obama -- whose votes have destroyed everyone in the Republican field -- is the unelectable one? The man has single-handedly saved and re-energized the Democrats. Republicans don't have a prayer this year, barring an assassination or something completely unexpected. McCain can't even energize his own party. Will McCain really rely upon 'we don't want that mvscal in office' to get himself in? That goes too far, even for lobbyist loving McCain.

Why should she have bowed out ? I think it's the Democratic process at it's finest. Two people slugging it out and in the end they'll kiss and make up. The thing is, she shows she has staying power, can "take the heat" and you have to admit the media has been pretty soft on Obama and pretty hard on Hillary.

I'm no fan, but I have developed more of a sense of respect for her. One tough broad. The fact she can even show her face after the Bosnia gaffe.

I don't know Reverend Wright, so I don't know if I'd like him or hate him. I know his words are racially tinged to the point of absurdity. I also know there's a double standard. Just because I point those FACTS out doesn't mean I despise him. He's a sick suffering human being like the rest of us. His illness just happens to be - he's racist - scratch that he's POWER HUNGRY and GREEDY. He's made himself a nice career of pimping racist idealogy, I don't know that he believes it or just uses it to make money.

Why don't you try explaining how Obama's "votes have destroyed everyone in the Republican field".

WTF is that even supposed to mean? From where I'm sitting, it means you don't have a clue of what you type.

The man has single-handedly saved and re-energized the Democrats.
Oh really? You mean the bitter chump who can't even put away Hillary, despite overwhelming advantages in fundraising, is a Dem savior?

You getting a clue would be completely unexpected.

He won't have to. Onogga has already seen to that himself. His only chance was to present himself as being beyond race. He failed miserably. His association with Wright has ended any chance he might have had in the general.

You can roll credits on his political career at the national level. He is a complete buffoon.
Not to mention the latest development: That Blacvk Preacher who was ranting a few weeks ago about "Barack Hussein Obama's in-heat African father went whoring around with a trashy white woman... I'm not trashing him; he was BORN TRASH..." has just come out with "Jeremiah Wright is a CLOSET HOMOSEXUAL, Barack Hussein Obama is a CLOSET HOMOSEXUAL and Oprah Winfrey is a SUSPECTED LESBIAN and the whole reason Barack Hussein Obama remained in that church for 20 years is because of his HOMOSEXUAL RELATIONSHIP with the pastor". Apparently the video of it is on youtube somewheres. He also claims to have proof that he will make public at "the opportune time"

priceless.

That's a fantasy.

If he's 're-energized' the party then why was he engaged in a nip-and-tuck struggle just to barely gain the party nomination?

Fact of the matter is he does TERRIBLE with white voters, and particularly with white low-income/low-education voters.

He's fucked in the general.

He's unelectable because he's told Michigan & Florida to shove their votes up their ass- he doesn't want them to be counted. He also can't win in Pennsylvania, Ohio, or West Virginia. You can talk all you want about how Obigot's popularity is overwhelming in NY & Californa, but their electoral votes only count once. This election is McCain's to lose.
