It did cause great damage to the country, short eyes.

Thanks to Bubba, the Chinks now have both the supercomputers they needed to make nukes small enough to put several of them on a single rocket, and the know-how to hit a specific point in space with that rocket. Before that, they were only a nuclear threat to Russia, India & Japan; now they can hit Europe and the USA.

Honestly, there was a time in which I would have happily voted for McCain...when he remained something of a maverick.

The years following the 2000 campaign have cured me of this viewpoint completely.

Seriously - I think we need a different approach - strong, intelligent, principled, and fresh. Obama seems to fit the bill for me best at this point.

I agree that the Clinton administration is culpable for nuclear proliferation...as are most of the Presidents in the modern era.

No shit. Don't forget while the chinks got the guidance systems off those tomahawk missiles, Osama became $30 million richer.

Clinton may have done wonders for the economy, but our military was at its lowest point.

Don't forget how undermanned and untrained we were in the Mogadishu too.

Great. Pickle for Pres.

Then we'd have a CIC who gives head in the oval office instead of getting it.

Depends on what the meaning of the word "head" is.

Chimpy has most certainly eaten Condi Rice's twat in the oval office.

A write-in vote for Ron Paul.
The only principled leader in sight, and very definitely the only guy who would do his damn best to bring the government back to ... WE THE PEOPLE.

Only with a sharpened chopstick pointed at my eye would I cast a vote for either McLame or OCarter.

Sad but true.

Amazing that Paul's popular book, The Revolution: A Manifesto, needs to be titled as such.

Sad, sick and twisted state of affairs when actually following the Constitution is considered a revolutionary idea.

But that's where we are.

A vote for Obama or MCain is a vote to go deeper down the drain of a government taken away from ... US.

Pretty simple. A vote for Paul isn't a vote that is going to do anything to help prevent McCain or Obama from being president.

No, a vote for Paul means you want to go back to what tart was pointing out. We The People... The problem we have with this nation is 98% of the people living in it are brain washed from the headlines they read and trust.

No. Not really.

While it is mostly worthless to vote for a 3rd Party Candidate, you can make the argument that if a 3rd party candidate, like Barr, gets enough of the vote this year it could help to improve relevence of that party in the future and actually work towards making some change to the current system.

I still wouldn't make that vote, but you can make the argument.

But a write in vote for somebody who isn't on any ballot is fucking completely, and totally, worthless without any redeeming value.

A vote for Ron Paul is no better than a vote for Cap'n Crunch, Huckleberry Hound or Optimus Prime.

If you want to go that route then a vote for anyone other than the ultimate winner of the election is a wasted vote.

Yes, it is of paramount importance that as a prerequisite to being judged as to whether or not you are a good President is if you have been formally trained as a conductor.

Not that Fester needs help from me or anyone else to "defend" himself, but I don't see anywhere in his post where he is trying to imply that good conductor = good prez. Looked to me like he was simply making an observation. But go ahead and get on with your bad self.

Unkle Fuckface needs help alright. Mental help. And the first thing his therapist needs to get into his well aired head is that he needs to sit back and shut the fuck up while intelligent adults are talking. Unkle Fuckface needs some shaking up since he's given to sitting in front of his computer all idiotically self satisfied to the extent that he likes to pretend he's Jon Stewart. Fucking retarded to the end since emulating that asshole is butt stupid anyway.

The caption to this pic: The Hong Kong Philharmonic Orchestra (香港管弦樂團) is holding a free harbourfront concert under the stars featuring Chinese violinist Lu Siqing (呂思清) performing the Butterfly Lovers(梁祝) Violin Concerto under the baton of renowned Chinese conductor Lu Jia (呂嘉).

Gee whiz golly by gosh: looks like the musicians are ignoring "renowned chinese conductor Lu Jia" while he flails away too, huh?
OR- Unkle Fuckface has never seen an orchestra in action and tries to pass his fucked up ignorance off as some kind of snide little bitch "in the know" observation. But he's just an asshole.

No, Schmuckie, UF needs all kinds of defending since he's a weak minded spoken for lame bag of shit.

I listened to one of his speeches. He's a decent speaker, but his speeches are nothing but plans, and it seemed just amalgamation of every good talking point that Bush, Clinton, and Gore have used at some point in the past. It seriously seemed like that to me. I could hear Bush saying some of the things he said.

But at the end of the day, it is only a plan, nothing more. I can go around telling everyone I'm going to change the future of America just as easily as Obama is doing. I won't get elected, but I'll have just about the same amount of ability to make it happen, which at this point is none. It's just talk.

What has he accomplished in the past to make anyone think he is capable of what he is promising for the future? I honestly don't like the option ( McCain), but between the two he has far more world and political experience.

Obama was a state senator for 7 years and a US senator for 3. No military experience, and prior to his 10 years in politics he was a teacher and a lawyer.
