'08 All-Star Final Vote

Post by Shoalzie »

Who'ya gotta?

Longoria and Hart have the early lead...ie--BrewerFan and RayFan spent a lot of time around their computer yesterday and today.

I picked Longoria and Lee. Dye should've made the team anyways but Longoria has been one of the most exciting players in baseball since he's been called up. He's lapping the field for AL Rookie of the Year. In the NL, Rowand is maybe the only guy I wouldn't vote for out of those five.

As for the rest of the rosters for both team...much respect for the fans voting for the right people in the NL...with exception of the Cubs love in the outfield. The infield was dead on and with Soto behind the plate, it could've been either he or McCann. In the AL, way too many Red Sox and Yankees but that's how the voting shakes out. You had to think YankeeFan would push hard to get at least Jeter and A-Rod in as starters with the game at THE Stadium. Should be a pretty cool couple of days...lots of nostalgia with the majority of the living Hall of Famers making an appearance.

Marmol is 2-3, and was booed off the field last time he pitched. With that in mind, he's replacing Kerry Wood on the roster.
