Our building shook pretty good. It was out near Chino Hills.

...lots of shaking in Northridge. No damage in our office or at home. Just a sucking feeling in my chest. More people in the parking lot than cars.

Let's hope not.

Good shake, rattle, and roll. No real damage here but I'm 35 miles away. Just a broken picture frame.

BTW no cellular phone service. How will we ever survive?

5.8 is pretty damn strong.

We're about 85 miles away and got a good shake. No collapsed buildings, busted water mains or widespread looting and panic in the streets.
But then I haven't actually looked outside yet, either.

Airliners remain scattered all over tarmac at LAX while one is caught on film just before crashing backwards into the runway.

A helicopter is seen repairing the famous Hollywood sign. The 2 "L"s had fallen down the hill but were were moved back up and put in place within an hour of Tuedsay's major quake.

They could have saved money by just knocking off the "Y" and leaving it to say "HO WOOD".
