NFL Sunday Countdown
Fuckin' A, it's finally here. For the next 17 weeks of the regular season and then on into the playoffs, I wake up on Sunday morning with a smile on my face, knowing I've go an orgy of Pro Football to look forward to. From watching the pre-game hype fest while reading the sports page, to tracking games in the pick 'em and seeing how my FFL players are stacking up against the competition...
...yeah, I don't have a life, but I freaking LOVE IT!
BRING IT ON!

Agree with both of your points.

I'm with you there...you work hard 5 days of the week and then you get the chance to chill out and enjoy two great days of football each weekend during the fall and winter. It's a beautiful thing. I'm a nerd for this stuff...I've got my laptop out with some snacks and I'll watch the Leos but I'll keep up with other games and check particular players for fantasy purposes. If I see a touchdown by Brian Westbrook, I'll smile and pump my fist but my one wish every week is for my team to win as much as I lament them.

I think it's free throughout the year. Yahoo! and ESPN are in the battle of making every possible feature free. It's win-win for us.

No, he's playing the Lions' defense. He'll have a very good year with Falcons but these are inflated numbers. Any decent running back is going to rip this defense up. Peterson will probably for 400-500 yards in the two games he plays against them.
The only thing I'm pleased with is the passing attack looks good and Kevin Smith and Rudi Johnson could become nice duo at running back. They could be better if the offensive line wasn't so crappy.
Re: NFL Sunday Countdown
The Falcons have just surpassed 300 yards on the ground as a team...absolutely pitiful. The Lions offense is going to have put up 50 points a game to win if this crap keeps up.

Definitely a bad week to start the season. When your bench is outscoring your starters, you're in trouble.KC Scott wrote: Chances of Success for Crusaders:

What pisses me is off that I really thought this was a great chance for them to start 1-0 against a young team but they got outworked and outhustled. The fans are absolutely lighting up the Lions on the local call-in shows...it's priceless. They'll score points and make pretty plays on offense but they'll get dominated at the line of scrimmage. Both lines suck out loud.
September can't end soon enough...the only real team in Detroit starts their season in the second week of October.
