I didn't think about the McNabb or the Jackson side of things with fantasy on that play but I was happy getting the bonus tuddy for Westbrook. I was going to win this week anyways but I got a chuckle out of it. He made a dumb mistake but it ultimately didn't cost his team any points which does mean more than our silly fantasy leagues. It's all about luck and chance anyways with fantasy...you don't know who will go off or who will go down with a season-ending injury.

Which is why pulling shit like that is a HUGE deal. Even if he didn't cost his team any points, a far more important player like Westbrook could tear an ACL lunging for the endzone. Football is a violent sport. Every play is potential for a career threatening injury. Jackson is too stupid to understand that. How an imbicile like m2 can even stick up for this jackass is beyond me, especially since he was a cancer at Cal and contributed more to them ending last year unranked than he did to keeping them BCS eligible.

If Westbrook would've got hurt on trying to score the garbage TD, that would've sucked on so many levels...however, that stuff can happen on any play at any time. Jackson probably didn't think in his head that his selfish act might get someone hurt...he wanted to the glory of the touchdown and ended up looking like a tool. The thing that will be interesting to see is the next time he's going in for a TD, what does he do to show he learned his lesson. Doing something once doesn't deserve a wrap or a bad label...that only comes from a pattern of a certain behavior.

m2 is such a Cal-slappy...he'll stick up for any Golden Bear no matter what. I can understand being loyal but there's a point when you have to take shots at the ones you love when they deserve. Jackson deserved criticism and if it was Mike Hart or Mario Manningham that did that, I would roast them for that because I'd expect better from them. We have to expect better from the players root for and not condone things just because they were or wore the uniform of your favorite team. There's certain conduct a "professional" should have and Jackson definitely didn't show it there.
