Scoring first is a great way to take some of the energy out of a fired-up stadium...it'll definitely be a shootout over in Happy Valley tonight.

Good call on replay. Illinois is tough on offense.

I don't understand why they were so confused on that replay. Benn's feet dragged in the endzone, he had possession...touchdown. Sheesh.

Since the Tide are rolling up the Dawgs...I guess I'll leave it on ABC the rest of the evening.

if Illinois wins, they will be giving each other hand jobs on Missouri's tigerboard.com.

Game Over!
Rack PSU and JoePa. This team has a ton of speed. Gonna be a tough one to beat.

Penn State looks good.
I'd say.... in the Big 10 it's
1. Penn State
2. Michigan State
3. Ohio State
then the rest...

Funny how the teams you play are in the top tier of their leagues.
But I do think State is formidable, a tad behind OSU, but formidable.

The MSU D is still suspect, especially the secondary and the pass rush. I'm pleased for now, but they really haven't beaten anybody yet.

I said at the start of the season... Michigan State would be 2 or 3 in the Big 10 with a good chance to win it.
I said they would be 6-1 and Ohio State would be 6-1 when they meet.... with Michigan State winning the game.
I would say... I'm still on course and not far off on my predictions for the season in the Big 10.

Well, that was a pretty impressive performance from PSU's offense. PSU has a mediocre defense this year that will give up yards and points to a team like Illinois.
I like our chances this year because it seems we have a solid OL, 2 really good RBs, and a good QB. The defense is good enough to get occasional stops. Our chances in conference play rely on the offense.
UM, Wisconsin, and OSU are going to be extremely difficult games for PSU to win. If we can do that, then I think our shot at the MNC would be a good one.
A couple of weeks ago, I predicted PSU to be a 2 loss team. I'm gonna stick with that for now...beating Wisconsin on the road is the next real milestone.
I don't think Purdue is that solid overall.
