man, i'm pretty drunk right now.
but it was a helluva great game.
drives me nuts that we gave up that TD on the KO return.
that was the play of the game. turned the tide. gave em momentum..etc etc.
that ko return for a TD was an absolute killer and i told MO that it would be the end of us.
i'm sure MO will be on to give props as well...after i take his money tonight in pokwer

Re: GG tejas.
I've got to give it up to Texas.
they fought for every play.
On D,the DE's were getting in the backfield early and often and completely stuffed OU's ground game.
ON O,the made the big plays to move the chains and control the clock.
Texas>OU
sucks to admit!

Re: GG tejas.
Congrats, Texas Fan. It's hard to hate the Longhorns right now with class-acts like Mack Brown and Colt McCoy. Loved the respect Bradford and McCoy clearly have for each other. Here's hoping Bradford wins the rubber match next year.
Great game on both sides. The Texas D and running game showed up in the fourth quarter and that was the difference. Losing Reynolds was also huge.
This week is gonna suck...

Re: GG tejas.
I have a theory about the 4th quarter I would like to get a little feedback on.
Texas dominated the 4th for two reasons, one was obviously the loss of Ryan Reynolds, the second in my opinion was the OU offense constantly using the no huddle offense. In short they scored too quickly and kept putting the Texas offense and their defense back on the field. This is ok when going up against a offense that can't score but the fact is Texas kept the pressure on and forced OU to keep their starters in. By the time the 4th quarter rolled around the OU defense was dead tired and expected to keep stopping a strong Texas offense. That's when you started to see running lanes open up, I know skull blamed the OU defense for giving up 45 pts but there is a lot to be said about having a offense that can eat up the clock when needed.

OU could not run the ball at all.
can't run the can't control the clock.
period.

Re: GG tejas.
I agree with your theory, Vito. If OU could've established some sort of running game out of the no huddle, some of the scoring drives might have been more methodical and time-consuming.
