I knew the basics, but not the details of his colorful life. Where and when did you find this information out ? His book ?

As for marching into the Hindu Kush and arresting a figurehead - Good Luck, if it was as easy, strategically, tactically and logistically feasible to do so, it would have been done now. Osama Bin Laden himself, has been rendered pretty impotent at this point, he might not even be alive for all you know.

Barack Obama took his adoptive father's name (Soetoro) at the age of five, and eventually changed it back. I guess that this type of thing is really unusual, except among Presidential candidates...

Bill Clinton was William Blythe III until he turned 14 and his mother married Roger Clinton. Gerald Ford was born Leslie Lynch King, Jr., and three years later his mother married Gerald R. Ford and unofficially re-named her son. The younger Ford didn't legally change his name until his was 22 years old.

The simple fact is, where he is alleged to be located is an area that has been isolated for centuries. There is little to no success of getting a "team" up there without him knowing. The element of surprise is all but impossible. Further it not very feasible to mount any kind of large scale attack due to the logistical obstacles. The elevation, the terrain, AND the fact that area is inhabited by tribes who've existed there for centuries would make getting men and materials and the logistical support they'd need - almost impossible. And of course, the element of surprise would be negated.

Combatting Al Queda in Iraq and the Talliban in Afghanistan is being guided and directed by experts in the field. Attacking and monitoring their flow of money in order to stifle the influx of cash to fund Al Q's operations is being done.

I trust the judgement of the men and women with experience and "human intelligence" about his matter more than emtpy rhetoric from people on a message board or those running for office. Most of the information I've read was summed up in the first paragraph. I am confident when Obama and Biden take office, they will be informed of the same thing and they too will defer any imagined rush to the Hindu Kush. Of course if proponents of this course of action think Iraq was tough, they haven't seen anything yet.

I know why you want it, any dead American is a good American to you.

Who knows, it might work. The country and media tend to rally around Presidents getting GI's killed as long as those Presidents are Democrats. 20th Century statistics prove that.

Actually, you have no right to see anybody's birth certificate that isn't a member of your family, whether they are running for President or not.

Congress does, but they have no right to disclose any information on that birth certificate to you. The only way you know if he's eligible or not, is if they allow him to be president, which they are.

You are making a big assumption that nobody has checked into his records. And making a stupid assumption that he's not American born. You have no idea what kind of background checks he's already been through for this process, because that's all private information that won't be publicly disclosed, unless Obama wants to disclose it himself.

So far only nutbags, with no right to see it, are asserting that they haven't seen his "real" birth certificate.

Actually, it seems that producing a certified birth certificate would be a pretty easy way of exposing the nutters as... nutters.

It'd also be significantly cheaper than paying lawyers to fight it out in court to keep from having to produce a certified birth certificate.

Realistically, even of Onogger were technically ineligible to be president, throwing him off the ballot now would cause the jigs to fucking go apeshit, so that ain't gonna happen
