Choose to Be Happy

Post by KC Scott »

Just back from our National Sales Meetings in Palm Beach.
One day was "allocated" to sales training - ho hum.....
I've set thru at least a dozen or more in the 20+ years in sales so there wasn't much new I haven't seen or heard

One thing did stick with me though, the dude (A Canadian professor) started with a block on how we approach each day.

The basic premise is we have a choice - so why not Choose to be happy?

I kinda chuckled and immeditaley thought of this place.
I was tempted to ask him if he'd ever logged on here as Dan Vogel

But the more I think about it, the more I agree.

Choose to be Happy T1B.

Rack those Canadians

Being in sales is a tough job, but rewarding if you're good at it.

Rack you Scott for apparently being good at it.

I'd rather scrub toilets than whore myself out like ass-kissing salesmen are forced to.

But in the end, we're all salesmen in one way or another.

That Canadian would have made more sense if he used me as an example. Sales would go through the fucking roof no matter what you're selling.

Seriously. I don't disagree with a word of it.

In your case, I would guess sales would bottom out.

I can't think of a funnay-er poster than you. You just bring the laughs non-stop.

It's funny that you say that because I had a sociology professor in college who impressed us upon that outlook. He said many times that very thing. It's as simple as making that decision every day. We all face hard times and challenges. But we can manage our our brain and how we decide to look at things. We are what we think.
