USC will skull fuck them in their season finale...they're going to be 6-6 in the end. That's a bad record for a schedule that appeared to be quite easy.

Damn. Time to fire Weis. I would've been fine with another season at 7-5. Not at 6-6.

And ND shouldn't be going to any bowl game now. Given the fact that ND will finish 6-6, our traditional approach to bowl games (i.e., we didn't play them no matter what), and the fact that the Big East has enough bowl-eligible teams to fill all their slots anyway, there's no reason for us to go.

The most uninspired, lacksadasical, bullshit performance I've ever seen. WTF was that on the last drive. How about not trying to go for it all on one play. How about finding a fucking kicker, how about a fucking running game.
Fuck them. I hope $C just ass fucks them 70-0. I bought into the Weis stuff but he's obviously in over his head.
Fire him, but him out and hire Skip Holtz.

Notre Dame is the biggest disgrace to sports on the whole. Ty Willingham would have coached the team to a victory today. But, then again, Quote-unquote, Even god hates Ty, according to Killian. The fucking Yankees of college football: wasting millions on underachieving talent. Any guess to how Weis, picking up the play calling, blames the performance on his players? What a fat, worthless piece of shit.

Fuck that program and all its shit-eating fans. Syracuse? You deserve it.

"Notre Dame will find a good coach."

BWHAHAHAHAAHHAAHAHA.

I noticed while watching that game that the grass was cut pretty short.

I hope they keep Weiss another 15 years

Yep, they kept the grass long just so Desmond Reed could get hurt. Hey, what about Sanchez's injury early this year? Didn't he hurt his knee? Wait, wasn't that on short grass at practice. Take your long grass JFK conspiracy theory and shove it straight up your ass. Oh wait, you can't your head is already there. I hope ND's shitty season fucks up your SOS this year.

Maybe Weis should have paid more attention to the fans pelting the team with snowballs. There were a few with good arm strength and accuracy. Maybe some of them deserve a scholarship.

I don't know why. The only good team USC has played has been OSU. Having ND on your schedule is actually probably going to hurt you now in the BCS. You should have been pulling for them, dumbass.
If you haven't noticed yet, Schmick actually gets more pleasure from a ND loss than he does from a USC win. He's a cut off his nose to spite his face kinda guy.

If it weren't for recruiting Weis would be toast, better show some competitiveness against USC. If the domers just get destroyed I just can't see Charlie staying.

In fairness to ND, ND has three losses by a combined total of 9 points this season, one of which came in overtime.

But in many respects, that fact is as troubling, if not moreso, as it is encouraging. All three of those losses came at the hands of teams which do not have as much talent overall as ND has. Not saying that any team, let alone ND, should always beat a team with lesser talent, that's why they play the games. But good teams do not lose three games against teams with lesser talent in a season, and certainly not when they play two of those three games at home.

Also, IIRC, ND squandered a fourth-quarter lead against all of those teams. They also nearly suffered comeback losses against two other opponents (Stanford and Navy) who ultimately came up short.

Walker has improved over the season. He did miss three FG's against Syracuse, but two of those were at the very edge of his range. Of course, the one that was within his range would have been the margin of victory.

Even more concerning for me was our inability all season to develop a running game in general (except against an undersized Navy team), and our ineffectiveness on 3rd-and-short in particular. ND should be converting at about 70% on 3rd-and-3 or less, and about 80% on 3rd-and-2 or less. That and our inability to close out wins is a reflection on our coaching staff. Weis should not be back unless drastic changes to the staff are made, and even then should be on an extremely short leash next season.
