Mizzou-KU Pet (Camarohead)

Post by Adelpiero »

Ok, got the Tailgating PET done in cooking forum, now for the actual game. Man, cutting down all these pics from 4-5meg to 600 pixels can be tedious. Took a shit load of pics, so i'll post some or many of them. We went to casino Friday night(ok, i know, a shocker, me gambling), got stuck having to play Poker, as the BJ and Hold'em Bonus tables were full. We played poker from 9:00pm to 3:45am, then went to breakfast, then got back, took a shower and got ready to leave for the Stadium(we were near airport). All night'r!

Also, that $19 gas grill from wal mart? worked perfect, little surprised, but it was nailz and for $19, i had little expectations, but it's a tailgaters must, light, easy to put together and put away, and will last a good year or 2 or more, who knows.

Also, rack the weather, snowed from 6:30ish and didn't quit till the next afternoon. That my friends is football weather. Considering both teams had their bandwagon fall of the wheels, 79K wasn't too bad of an attendance.

That's it for now or good, fuck it, that's enough pics. Great time, and even though MU lost to Beakers, i went away knowing i just witnessed a great fucking game and win or lose, i felt satisfied. I usually get pissed at MU losses, but really can't get pissed over the way the game played out in 2nd Half, it was either teams game to win.

Since they re upped the KC contract, it will be a yearly visit, along with Reno(nevada game), and to Stillwater for Okie st next season.

Anyone staying in KC with family, chase Suite hotels were great, like a condo, price was great, and your in a nice part of town, close to Airport, and good dining within miles. KC blows, but at least you can stomach 3 days of it!

PS how about that Camerohead seating, they put next years seating numbers on top of the actual seating #'s. Many of the 2008 seating stickers were too low, so people only saw the seat numbers and sat down, even though they were 1 section to left. You have to piss in troughs, are stalls and urinals a little ritzy for KC???? I hadn't pissed in a trough(ok, at Kauffman), since playing little league baseball. Even the softball fields around here have urinals. I feel for KC Mu fans, they are surrounded by KU losers 365 days a year. Yikes!

You're a fucking party animal. Which casino? I'm guessing Ameristar.

I'd say that was damn good attendance. The place looked packed and about 50/50 for each team, which surprised me. Maybe that was just the camera angles and shots Fox gave. Would you say different?

Freaking luv it. :D

luv that too, but if you're gonna' bastardize the name, at least get the gloss right. Camarohead... beats watching football in a dome, eh?

We'll have to hook up next year at the casino, the game, or elsewhere... I live near KCI (relatively speaking, compared to how far you were from the stadium) and the "good dining" you speak of must have been down on Barry road or in Zona Rosa. You'll have to check out the new Power and Light district downtown and the Shark bar, among other places.

Maybe I'll take you over to my favorite lanes (in Liberty) and show you how a KC house bowler rolls.

ahh, no wonder the tables were full. Hit Ameristar next year. At least 3 times more tables, among other things. Though a nice place, Argosy is a hole in the wall compared and more of a slot players casino. Ameristar is fucking huge.

They do have the best crab legs in town though. All you can eat on Thursday night... come up a day earlier if you can.

Nice PET adel.

Wags is right, Ameristar is the place to play -
Next year you should stay East of the Stadiums - Blue Springs, Lee Summit are both great - Good bars and Hotels
Very quick access in and out of the stadiums - the Beakers all come in from the west so you get the I-70 clusterfuck

Maybe next year I'll get motivated to go, I've just traveled so much this year I want the couch time whenever possible
