Big XII Title game

Post by War Wagon »

We've been here before.

Fuck it, I know we don't have any reasonable chance of winning, but neither did K-State in 2003.

Mizzou is going to fuck your world up at Arrowhead, OU honk. You have no idea how painful this is going to be.

Sign up right here for sig bets that will last until the end of 2008

You're welcome in advance to Texas fan. We'll take care of this Sooner business and you can celebrate a happy New Year.

For Mizzou to win, they'll have to play a perfect game. No turnovers, while forcing at least one or two from OU. That's about the only way to stop the Sooner express. Our shit secondary with their heads jammed way up their asses while another receiver gets behind them sure won't.

Tigers need to score early and often and just try to keep up, get it to the 4th qtr and see what happens. Hopefully Coffman can play at or close to 100%. They simply have to have him on the field the entire game to have any chance.

I think big plays on special teams will have a huge effect on the outcome. Please, please... kick it to Maclin.

How's Bradfords' wrapped left hand going to hold up? I hear he can only take snaps from the shotgun formation. Maybe a few dropped balls turn into sacks.

Unfortunately, the weather shouldn't be much of a factor. It's about 40 degrees in KC right now, after being colder than hell all week. I was hoping for a freaking ice storm, that'll probably happen next week.

Anyways, I've been waiting an entire year, hoping and praying for this rematch. I got what I wanted. Merry fucking Christmas.

MU dline needs to get hits on Bradfords hand, break that bitch into 3 pieces. Old school football, every hit would be to his hands. Nothing cheap or dirty about it.

Calling my shot

Missouri cheap shots Bradford's busted hand, forcing him to leave the game. Hazelnut comes in and tosses 11 ints, refs actually call holding. Ou offense is deducted points for Stoops politicing. Fatty and Maclin have career days and Missouri wins 45- -3. blOwU hops on the Holiday bowl express and Texas goes BCS bowliing.

as long as no one is pulling at his fingers and thumb, then it wouldnt be a cheap shot, but any helmet hits to his hands is legal and totally legit and should be expected by a coach wanting to win. Old school football.

Pinkel is too much of a pussy to try and knock Bradford out of the game. He'll probably tell his guys to 2 hand touch bradford. Mr.Nice guy :meds:

Oh we'll another bails

So looks like Another Big12 title game at Scott Trade center for Blues-Yotes game.

wow, right as i'm heading out the door, thankfully the tickets haven't been purchased, was supposed to meet peep/scalper in Independence, right off I-70. Looks like he won't be meeting me. That KU loss has taken it's toll on the bandwagon fans, i'm even offering to pay for their tickets to go, but no dice. They were begging to go to games all year, till the KU loss.

this is the worst part about the bandwagon, when the wheels come off, they fucking fall off. Most of the tickets available aren't Mu fans, they are scalpers and bandwagon fans who thought they were going to get a high priced ticket and make money off the fan bases. Proof, many of the people selling tickets have 4-10 available, who buys 10 tickets??? One guy has 30 tickets available another has 20, c'mon, that ain't fans. and that was just from 1 craiglist site, i didn't even check the KC or CoMo lists, i'm sure they are packed.

Wags, you should get a couple tickets, especially at the price people are offering them up for and the location of where the game is. Especially with Jerry Jones trying to get the game put in his new Dome on permanent basis. This will probably be last KC title game

They've got a freshman pitcher from Iowa who became their #1 pitcher in the fall season and is the real deal. She's an overpowering pitcher who can also hit for lots of power. She reportedly beat out the former #1, who was a 20 game winner, and allowed 1 hit in three games against her teammates (the #3 hitting team in the nation according to the Mizzou coach). Anyway, she's worth the price of admission if you get the chance to attend a softball game in Columbia. Her dad was a member of my football officiating crew and was an all-american nose guard in Div III back in the day.
Mace

What's her name? I'm sure my daughter has heard about her. I'll ask next time we talk. She doesn't go to Mizzou, but she bleeds black and gold, same as her old man.

I don't know either, but I just have this feeling that Mizzou is going to play the game of their lives tonite... and even then it may not be good enough.

I just really want to believe this is going to be a close game that comes down to the finish. I know a lot of foiks are expecting a blow-out, but I'll be surprised should that happen.

Maybe that's myopia and a false sense of hope, but damnit, it's all I've got.

I'll be rooting from Scott trade center. Found 2 Club seats to Yotes-Blues game for $50 a piece, thats 60% off face value. Free beer, brauts, hot dogs, soda, popcorn, etc. Can't beat that, plus the suites behind us will have MU game on like they did last year(you would assume).

Go MU

Scalpers should stick to Hanna Montana tickets, those damn things were selling in SLC for around $500 bones each, I kid you not, I know because my 6 year old daughter wanted to go and I tried to get her some tickets. Instead I decided to take her shopping and save myself about 850 bucks and let her go hog wild.

The sick thing is that they were getting that much for them.

Funny to see Goob and Chip wanting in on a sig bet that has nothing to do with their teams.

Sundouche calling calling Pussy is on par with Andy Dick doing same.

Mizzou +16.5 is a bet I'd take - I can see the no respect card firing up the tigers.

Does that mean they'll win against a superior team? Probably not.
But then again that's what OU thought against K-State too.

Why on Earth would we take your bowl game away from you? Haven't they renamed it the University of Texas Holiday Bowl? You've played in four of them since 2000.

Kind of question what the hell Stoops was doing towards the end of that game. You are a lock to play for a MNC, the game is well in hand, and you have a fabulous QB with a hand injury already. So you decide to keep the starters in virtually all game and continue to throw the ball instaed of milk the clock. I usually don't wish injury on people, but I was almost hoping for karma to take Bradford out of the game with some thing enough to make hime doubtful for the bowl game.
