Don't get me wrong. I think Herm is a fine person and a great motivator as a coach, it's just that his game management and decision making are atrocious. Mis-using timeouts, when to go for it and when not, the play not to lose mentality.

He's just not head coach material. You don't lose as many close games as he has, games they should have won, if you are. He'll make a fine assistant elsewhere.

I've found fly fishing quite fun on the lakes of Minnesota to be one of my favorites.

Stayed in Fairfax last night - right next to the mall :?
Had my meeting in Manassas this morning and just got home about an hour ago.

Dulles has got to be the ugliest most drab airport I fly into.

With the people mover pods back and forth between the terminals, it's reminds me of a Mars colony from some bad Sci-Fi flick.

At least I had direct flights and they were each "only" an hour late

Sorry to hear about your trip, Scotty. I have the distinct displeasure of flying out of Dulles on Saturday when I fly home for Christmas. It's just a huge pain in the ass to get out there when it's so easy to fly out of BWI or DCA. And I can imagine how much Fairfax sucks, that's why I never venture any further west than Tyson's, and I'm rarely ever out there.

Pretty weird when an entire highway becomes HOV at 4:00 PM

I went to DC on business 8 years ago. In 3 days there were only 2 good things to come out of that trip, the view from my 8th floor hotel room in Pentagon City and the privilege of knocking back a beer or 10 with Tom at some bar in Alexandria. The rest of the time was pure hell, from the traffic to the crappy, not properly tested software I had to install. If I had to work in DC, I'd go insane.
