Hey, KC fan...
What was the no-show tally yesterday? I happened to flip on the KC game (accidentally) and it looked like the entire upper deck was empty. Way to represent.
Re: Hey, KC fan...
Yeah and thanks for beating Miami too. I was hoping for KC to make up for the cheap shot that took out our MVP QB, but alas you can't count on the chiefs for anything. I hope Bernard Pollard rolls his SUV....

Either the Ravens or the Fish must lose. I don't see either happening.Neely8 wrote:Nostradumbass posting here??? So glad you can see the future....
In fact, I think Mangenius would even go as far to lose on purpose in order to keep NE out of the playoffs. Dude was actually practicing how to throw a game with 2:20 left in yesterday's tilt. With Favre under center, I think a total meltdown is a foregone conclusion. No one loses in a more glorious fashion than the Mississippi Mud Thrower.
Jacksonville beating Baltimore? Bawahahahaha. Come on. Did you see the Thursday Nite game against Indy? I think the Jags 4th quarter implosion machine is clicking on all cylinders. Good year for the Pats... all things considered. However, I think we'll be on the outside looking in.

Yeah I do not have so much faith in J-Ville going into Baltimore and beating that Raven team. Stranger things have happened, but I do not see it.ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:Either the Ravens or the Fish must lose. I don't see either happening.Neely8 wrote:Nostradumbass posting here??? The fact the Jets are at home, and have to win to make it in themselves makes me believe they will give it an honest effort. Maybe Pennington is jittery coming back to NY and blows the game. We will see.
Great year for the Pats all things considered. I am holding out hope but it is slim.....

weather conditions -12 degree wind chill + 2-12 football team playing out the string = I'm surprised as many people showed up as did.Goober McTuber wrote:What was the no-show tally yesterday? You must have tuned in late, most had left by halftime knowing full well how the latest episode of "you play to win the game" was going to end.

In other words, a bunch of fair-weather, bandwaggoning, weather-pussy fans. Details? I spent half of my day moving my sister out of her apartment and the other half unburying the Casa de Ucant from the 3rd storm in 6 days.War Wagon wrote:the latest episode of "you play to win the game" was going to end.

Sad? Yeah, I'm sure you've set at Lambeau bare chested in a late December blizzard watching to see if a 3-12 team could improve to 4-12.Goober McTuber wrote: In other words, a bunch of fair-weather, bandwaggoning, weather-pussy fans. Sad.
The 30,000 or so fans who showed up and braved that ball numbing cold for even one half to watch a pathetic team deserve props. The ones who stayed until the bitter end need their head examined.
In other words, go fuck yourself.

Ya' know, Herm actually coached a pretty good game for a change. Can't blame this one on him. They put a good fight and led 28-24 at the intermission.ucantdoitdoggieSTyle2 wrote:Details? You go to war with the army you have, not the one you wish you had. Herm's troops were overmatched at the end.
Props to Miami. They took care of business in the coldest game that franchise had ever played in. Hell, it was the 2nd coldest game KC had ever been involved with in the regular season, so they say.

I saw they were up 31-24 and went outside to give my new snowblower a workout... about an hour and half later I came back inside whistling Dixie with a spring in my step. I took one look at the misses face and knew Herm and Co had found a way to blow it. On the bright side, she offered to give me a blowjob to cheer me up.
Yes... I noticed I used the word 'blow" a lot in that post myself.
