Some shit to consider before people jump on the road teams:

The Eagles are back and forth. They shred the GIants one week, then get 3 points against the Redskins, then 44 vs. Dallas. This is not a kick ass team on a roll. They are do for a bad game. That being said I think they beat Minnesota.

Though the Colts are not thrilled about having to face San Diego, there is just something to be said about having to win week after week and then carrying that into the playoffs. It takes its toll on a team. I think Indianapolis wins on the road against a solid Chargers team.

And though the other two games have the road team favored, both of those games are toss-ups. If you had NE and Dallas in the playoffs as wild cards, it wouldn't be this clusterfuck of shit teams you have this weekend.

I'll nut up and call the wild card games:

Indianapolis over San Diego, 34-31 ( I can't see Dungy's last game being a loss to a Norv Turner team)

Arizona beats Atlanta, 24-20 (Kurt Warner is 7-1 lifetime vs. the Falcons)

Philadelphia over the Vikings 23-13 (Jim Johnson is going to make Tavaris' day a living hell)

and Miami beats B'More 27-23 in a close one. I say the Ravens don't get anything going on the ground.


So, only two of the road teams will win. We're destined for an Eagles/Giants divisional showdown....just a better matchup. Carolina can easily dispatch of the 'Tards.

In the AFC, Pittsburgh is praying Miami wins that game. They will, and they get an easy matchup vs. the Dolphins. Tennessee will have its hands full with div. rival Indianapolis, and I can't call that one just yet. Early edge goes to the Titans though.
