So Chargerfan......
You going to let another back who is better than LT walk to another team?
Just curious.
Great game, btw. Refs should've just let them play, but great game.

Btw... I hate both teams equally.
There are 32 teams in the NFL, and I hate 31 of them.
Special hate reserved for the Clots.

Indy's defense shot themselves in their dicks with dumbass penalties in OT. Two first-downs given on SD's final drive for defensive holding.

Those penalties were a sign of a defense that was getting tired and increasingly desperate.
BTW, I don't think I've ever seen a punter have a better game than Scifres did tonight.

Re: So Chargerfan......
What Sproles is doing for SD is what Oakland needs for McFadden to do for them.
Somewhat similar players.
This was very much a "home field" win for the Blots, imo.
No shame in it, jus' sayin'.
Indy gains a few more yards than SD and wins the turnover battle by 2 ... but loses the game.
Doesn't go down that way too often.
Unless'n you're on the road in a playoff game.
The defensive holding call prolly shouldn't have been made.
But hey, Peyton and the Clots had a chance to pretty much ice the game in regulation if they convert on 3rd and 2 at their own 9 with 2:30 left.
Fail.
SD made some plays and won the game.
Props to them.

And for the record, there were bad calls made against both teams imo. I didnt just single out the Vag Discharge's as having only benefitted on the ref's laundry. Dumbfucks. Not to worry, the blots will be getting stomped handily next week with that overrated shitbag Phileaf Rivers choking behind center. Fucking guy has never seen a red zone interception he didnt love throwing.....which he led the league in, btw. Sproles saved your punk asses like Turner did last year, pure and simple.
Your season, as well as seeing sproles in a faggot blue jersey, ends next week. And those you tards who think AJ is going to franchise Sproles or re-sign him are fucking high....another team will definitely back up the brinks truck to Sproles front doorstep, and the Chargeless will be out yet another back who is better than Bitchdanian.

Can't ever remember seeing that call be made in Pre-season, college or even HS, much less in OT of a playoff game.

From the moment he threw his hat in for the job, i've said that Martz could easily turn McFadden into another Marshall Faulk. They have nearly the same skillset.....except McFadden is faster and taller. Cable will never utilize DMC the way he should to maximize his presence on the field. Period.poptart wrote:What Sproles is doing for SD is what Oakland needs for McFadden to do for them.

I don't know that I'd say he's better than LT.....Darren's not big enough to handle the ball 25 times a game for a whole season, but he's DAMN sure nice to have on returns and as a spot starter and back-up.
btw,........RACK Mike Scifres.....if not for Sproles, he's the sole game MVP

Re: So Chargerfan......
That was a great football game. Hats off to the Chargers for gutting that one out and coming up with a big play when they needed it most (the sack on Manning with 2:30 to play in regulation and Sproles great catch and run on 3rd and 11 in OT).
I think it would behoove the Chargers to go ahead and let LT go and draft a big back in the middle rounds next year to compliment Sproles. Keep in mind LT turns 30 in June and that is usually the magic age of decline for RBs in the NFL. San Diego has a shit ton of young talent and it would be in their best interest to be proactive with the RB situation because they are just a couple of healthy players away from being a legit contender for the next 3 or 4 years. Just my .02

How many holding penalties the the Chargers O-line pick up? I don't remember them getting any, but I sure saw plenty of holding- as if the word came down from the league office ordering the refs to look the other wayBSmack wrote:You mean refs should have just let them cheat?RJ wrote:Great game, btw. 6 punts
52.7 yard average
51.7 net average
6 total return yards
6 inside the 20 yard line, 5 of 6 at the 10 or closer
no touchbacks
average Colts start: 8.2 yard line
Ray Guy was probably the best punter of all time, though I doubt you ever saw him play you lying sack of shit.
And you should be ashamed to besmirch his name by bringing him into your perverted fantasy world.
His career average was 42.7, so it's not likely that he *did that shit nearly every game*.
So, show me a single game where Guy even came close to what Scifres did yesterday.
I definitely won't hold my breath waiting. Dickbreath is prolly way too busy sucking cock in the weight room to respond.

You see, there are these things that came out in the late 70's called vcr's. Ray Guy played until '86. Figuring my father, mother and thier friends being absolute die-hards and thier friends rolling over to our place for games that werent home affairs and how easy the "record" button is to hit, and how often people tape games (shit, i've even got a ton of tapes of my team over the years).......you know what, fuck it-You're an extra strength dumbfuck who's better served as a poster child for what not to let yourself become: Fat, Bald and painfully fucking stupid.though I doubt you ever saw him play you lying sack of shit.

Something about just seeing that name is funnay.
Yes, McFadden returns kicks.
Oakland didn't choose to use him there.
McFadden is similar to Sproles in that they are both speedy as hell.
Both are excellent receivers.
And both probably need to be complimented by another back who is a bit more of a pounder.

Re: So Chargerfan......
...one helluva game, notwithstanding the fact I couldn't relax until Sproles dashed in from 20. Despite what the "haters" say, the Bolts have a great shot at nailing the Steelers. They beat the hottest team in the league stopping Indy, Manning, Clark and their 9 game winning streak. The Bolt Defense messed with Gomer's mind all day, and but for a brain fart would have held Wayne scoreless as well.
Rothlessburger will be a stationary target and I look for the Bolt defense to put a pounding on him. Rivers should have a skosh more time vs. Pitts front line to locate Jackson, Chambers, and Gates.
you heard it here first
Bolts......28
Steelers..17

No, I think it's his numerous run-ins with the law, long-time associations with convicted criminals, multiple baby-mommas before he was old enough to buy a beer, all the while blaming his bad upbringing for his own failures that gets him the "banger" label, rather than anything to do with farm implements.

While Sproles may be a bit more "dodgy," you might wanna consider, once again, having a vague fucking clue what you're talking about BEFORE you yap it up.
This seems to be a disturbing trend with you.
Uhm... McFadden's 40 times at the Combine are significantly faster than Sproles'... something that a guy taking "several strides to get up to speed" would be incapable of...
