Bradford to announce he's leaving after BCS title game?

Post by Adelpiero »

Was listening to some sports radio, after Stern was over, and after mentioning that the 2 georgia juniors are gone, they mentioned that barring an injury, bradford is gone. mentioned he will announce it after game is over

any truth? if he leaves, Tejas has to be a 4/5 or worse favorite for Big12 title.

Seeing Stafford and Bradford declare is the last thing I wanted to see...I'm dreading either of them as the #1 pick for the Lions. Make it Andre Smith or trade down...

That's a mistake for both Stafford & Moreno, neither of which has lived up to their billing so far. It would also be a big mistake for Bradford. He's not ready for Sunday yet. I don't see Moreno in the 1st round at all. Stafford has the so-called physical stats but something's missing with him. Can't put my finger on it. Even the crazy Lions won't be looking at those two. Bradford's a low 2nd rounder, high 3rd IMO.
PS The Lions & others will pass on Smith. Too many issues...

Matt Stafford has Rick Mirer written all over him. All the tools, a little chubby, but will work in the right system. Get him in the wrong system and he will be a huge bust.

In other news and this may be glass dick, but I read the other day that Tebow has submitted paperwork to the NFL trying to get an idea of where he'd go in the draft.

We've had this discussion before, and most everyone vigorously assured me that Tebow wasn't coming out because he wouldn't go in the first round, but that Bradford was a top 5 pick.

Nice take, care to back it up with something other than the ever-so-qualified, "I can't put my finger on it." I can't put my finger on Scarlett Johansson's asshole either, but that doesn't mean it's not right for me.

Ummm....Moreno is a first round no doubt.
Bradford is also especially if he is holding that Crystal Ball on Thursday.
Stafford...He has got the build to be a good NFL QB. Just needs a decent O-Line. Something UGA lacked.

Wouldnt surprise me to see all three go first round.

stafford would be a horrible top5 pick

bradford will be a top5, which is why he should come out, he won't improve his stock, he's already there, can only risk a fluke injury coming back.

he also loses an OL the majority of which have been starting since they were sophs. next year at OU would feature a lot more "getting hit" and throwing OOB and hurried throws, promise you that.

i have no idea how Bradford will be as a pro, but win or lose i think it's time. in today's world, this is how the machine works and this is when the payday comes.

Still awaiting elaboration on the "issues" Andre Smith has.

Projected as #2 or #3 doesn't indicate too many issues that the NFL boys are worried about. If the Lions are concerned about him, that should indicate that he's primo draft material for a real NFL team.
I guess the issues he was referring to was him being suspended for the Sugar Bowl. Which is not really an issue considering he was suspended for meeting with an agent to go to the NFL.

IMO if Bradford has a big performance Thursday night he is gone. His stock will be sky-high.

For the love of all that is holy/Tebow...Bradford can't be the #1 pick. I still want Andre Smith after watching last night. Bradford will have one receiver, one running back and a shaky offensive line blocking for him...he won't survive his rookie year. Give me Smith on the left side, Cherilus on the right side, Backus moves to a guard spot and worry about the QB of the future next year.
