Sure it'll work, but it's best to brown it before putting it in the pot.

salt n peppered n garliced up the leg and then floured it, threw it in skittlet and browned both sides and then threw it in dutch oven.......

took drippings and brought to boil with worscetshire, chicken stock, water, and red cabernet
and poured over leg and added potatoes, onions, and seasonings like leaf oregano, bay leaves, cloves

so far so good

Oh yeah. I forgot, a LOT of people who read these forums have the mentality of a 12-year-old.

I'll be sure to be more careful of my phrasing in the future, Beavis.

i transfered the lamb to the oven to keep warm while i brought the red wine mixtire to a boil......

it seemed to taste more like roast beef for some reason, but then i do take liberties with recipes, at least it was tender and flavorful

dude - you're perpetually baked, and never operate at more than half speed/drone - at best.

i'm the spazziest, most high energy bombastic nut around here, everyone knows this.

you'd have to crank that shit up to warp speed X 10 to even THINK you're keeping pace with me.

so there.

crock pots are gay.
pot heads are too, for that matter.

It says "Le Creuset" right on the lid of the pot, mothster. Maybe with more use the correct spelling will actually stick in your brain someday.
