I don't follow the college game but I just came to the realization that after next weekend, the NFL is .... away ... until August.

I share the bummer feeling. Fortunately for me I have hockey to cling to for a few months.

I got my tickets to some Twins games. Boston blackmailed the county to build them a new Min-Fenway for 2012 and it looks like the Orioles will move here then too. It's all good--as long as the snow birds (including my brother) keep coming here with their wallets full, their checking accounts in the black, and their credit lines good !
