MNF: Kornheiser out, Millen in?

Post by Shoalzie »

No link...just heard a rumor on the radio about it happening.

Good for those who can't stand Kornheiser but I'll never flip on a game again if it happens. If ESPN has a sick sense of humor, they'll put the Lions on a Monday Night and it'll make my head explode. I'd mute it and listen to the radio in that case.

Millen was good on Fox with Dick Stockton but he's lost every ounce of credibility in my eyes. Anything he'd say, I'd probably start laughing and throwing up at the same time.

The days of a 3 man broadcast team is assinine to begin with. The only one worth listening to is Jaws. Turico is a basketball announcer and Cornhole should stick to his PTI gig.

You mean the 2nd worst. Nobody, and I mean NOBODY was worse than Bryant Gumbel and Chris Collinsworth's butchering of the first season of NFLN games.

To state in such superlatives does a disservice to those of a persuasion to see the existentialism involved in the sililoquy that this league, the NFL, represents to those who have the persuasiveness to see the existentialism in the NFL's sililoquy persuasively.

In other words...

I don't think so.

While their respective douchebaggery is comparable, with one possibly having an edge in massengillic volume, but any edge would be slight at best...

I at least get the impression Dickheiser had quite possibly seen a football game or two before his hiring...

Dumbass Miller... not so much.

Kornheiser's football knowledge was about as extensive as knowing who the star players were for each team. You can get a 10-year-old kid to do. He didn't know squat about the grunt players. He just didn't bring anything to the broadcast other than his gushing over how great a player is. The two-man booth with Tirico and Jaws would've worked fine since Jaws is such a football nerd and gives you a lot to digest in the broadcast. Bringing in 31-97 just adds another windbag to the booth.

See, mvscal?

Further proof Korndipshit is infinitely more qualified than Broadcast-Killer-Miller.

For myself, I'd just as soon they hired mvscal as the third... it would be like the second coming of Cosell.

You don't like the Bleacher Bums? They are horrible, just horrible. I heard it was because of money that John Lynch, Sr. let Philly Billy and company go.
