WASHINGTON (AP) — Inaugural revelers are lucky they didn’t get fined for littering.

As crowds cleared the city Tuesday, their trash covered the National Mall and Washington Monument grounds after President Barack Obama’s inauguration.

They left behind plastic bottles, newspapers, food wrappers, gloves and even American flags they had been waving. Trash bins overflowed with items people tossed.

Twenty-one-year-old Laura Wiesner of Youngstown, Ohio, was on the cluttered Mall near the Smithsonian’s American History Museum. She says people’s quick exit — and failure to pick up after themselves — was a stark contrast to how grand the event had been.

Still not sure how big the party was but they did leave a massive mess. After all this talk about how ‘green’ his inauguration aimed to be, Barack Obama’s fans certainly let him down when it comes to cleaning up after themselves. Not so green…

And winter in Oregon may find a bit more trash..but the first decent day the community service groups and Dins's home boys from the Restitution Center are out cleaning shit up. ( Excepting I - 5 in the vicinity of Lombard, Killingsworth, that area)

For years my hood had no blacks..even at the college..then Billy moved to town with his adopted family in about 1977 ..moved in down the road from me..now Billy had the best connections for weed..and he and I rarely missed a day of getting loaded...then the chicks found out he had a crank that was a "bit" larger than the white home boys..and Billy started getting lots of white pussy..a lot more than the rest of us...and Billy gave us a lot of shit about being black, hung like a horse and fucking the white chicks..but he could pull the chicks ..still see Billy about every other week..and he is still fucking white chicks at 50 something..

Saturday night, some douche pulled up outside an underaged dance club and started popping caps in the people outside. Shot 8(?), killed 2, then (unsuccessfully) shot himself. The cops tell us it's the first random shooting spree in the city's history, although I seem to recall some dude going all belltower sniper when I was very young... but I think he was targetting cops, so that might not count as "random."

I always went on crime sprees when I did acid.

The story was kept under wraps by the local fish wrap pretty good..he hung out at a local frat house ( Animal House type) where they thought it was great fun to drive golf balls off their upstairs patio into our Babe Ruth games. They did this a couple of times, and I took off my coaches gear, and myself and 3 other "older" guys went over and had a little talk with them.

We walked up there and asked WTF..they got a bit smart and before the one dude could finish his " Fuck y.....splat the assistant coach and a prominent local real estate dude drills dude square in the dome and it is on...so 5 older guys take down 6 of these college punks..the cops come over to our game and ask if we saw any drugs while we were there...in particular acid...they could care less hat my buddy beat this poor fuck senseless...bad example for our players, but 3 of them now have over 17 kills in Iraq between them..so I guess it did not hurt them much...

Those 2 bitches tried to rob people, but with out weapons, it is kind of hard to convince some tweaking / spinning/tripping college bitch is serious...unless she wants to fuck that is..

Big thing on this one is the locals are not much into acid..there was probably less than 5 people in my age bracket that did it, and fewer later on..it was such a college thing..we used to mix alfalfa with a bit of raggy leafy weed and sell it to the tards...

Did some work at Reed college this year..now there's a bunch of freaks..

They should have put out extra bins in anticipation of the huge crowd. I'm sure the receptacles got full and people started dropping shit to the ground. I'm not making excuses....there is none because it's not too hard to tote your water bottles and trash back to your vehicle in the same bag you brought them out with. It's what decent people do.

But...roll-off dumpsters should have been strategically placed beforehand. Even though most are too lazy to tote trash back to their vehicles....most probably would have used available dumpsters.

Here in Nebraska we have the Adopt-A-Road program where scouts, ladies groups, and even families adopt 1 mile sections and pledge to periodically walk the ditches and pick up trash. It seems to work well as these groups and families compete to have the tidiest section of road. Some even plant wildflowers by the thousands, randomly along their sections. The highways remain clean and beautiful in most parts of the state.

The acid-dealer guy, if we're talking about the same person, doesn't have a violent bone in his body, and couldn't hit a golf ball to save his life, although I don't doubt that some of his college buddies were animals.

Acid Guy in question is a very close friend's (much) younger brother.

He ended up in the pokey for a few months out of the deal, with quite a bit of payroll afterwards.


If you've got anything to say or any smack to run on the guy, I can relay that for you, since he's on my YIM as I type this. Dude actually grew up to be a fairly resonsible, law abiding man, if you can believe that. I guess jail either hardens you, or mellows you out and makes you not want to go back -- he's a rare case of a rehabilitated offender.
