Makes you wonder how often this occurs. Especially in high profile cases where prosecutors see political capital and/or career advancement as more just than justice.

Nifong can't be the only one.

Yeah, but you knew he was suspect already. Being Carl's* son and all should have raised a few red flags in his background check.
