hey guys, i'm trying to save short clips of video from my camcorder to my computer so i can send out to friends and family etc.
i've got a samsung dvd recorder and i'm able to watch the videos from the folder when i have the thing plugged up..but i'm not able to actually record the video clips i want.
is there any free software i can get that'll help me put the video clips to files or am i missing something my XP has that i'm just not utilizing?

Where on the camera are the files? Flash memory? Hard drive?
Can you browse the files with the camera hooked up to a computer?
