I'll give you the Readers' Digest version: embryonic stem cells don't come from aborted fetuses (is it fetuses or feti in the plural? Dunno.) Embryonic stem cells come from leftover embryos created in the in vitro fertilization process. Embryos that were going to be thrown out anyway.

That should eliminate any moral qualms anyone has over the whole stem cell debate, unless you're against in vitro fertilization in the first place. But that ship probably has already sailed.
