down 1, with the ball and 30 seconds left. they get 3 shot clocks (UNC fouls), 3 full possessions and the only shot they "get off" is a tied ball/block by Hansborough that gives UNC the ball and the W. probably a foul, but Tech gets away with a carry earlier in the sequence....and almost throw the ball away twice while ineptly trying to run a play. airball on a 3 attempt to tie at the buzzer.

It seemed Va Tech was more interested in running clock the last few minutes of the game than trying to actually run an offense and score. Usually a recipe for defeat!
