Re: The Motherlode
Sam, this is really off topic, but have you ever been to the Houndstooth Saloon in Chicago? It's a Bama bar I stumbled across in Chitown, right across from Wrigley, when I went to see Mates of State Saturday night. Pretty cool place. I guess it's the "official" Bama bar of Chicago. The walls and everything were decked out in red. I didn't think anything of it until I started to notice some of the pictures hanging on the walls of old players, Bear Bryant, etc., and then I put it together. I wanted to take pics but of course forgot to bring the digi cam. Kind of an odd place to be, smack dab in Wrigleyville. I'd definitely go back though because they had the cheapest beer of anyone I can remember on the north side.

I might have to throw down for the Dillinger "CB 200 + Bionic Dread" double album.

I'm not so sure about that. All they're offering is a 320kb mp3 download for the price of a full CD. The only thing that gets them over is the relative "rarity" of the music being offered. But in the case of Dillinger's "CB200" album, I might relent, as I have not found it anywhere else in any form.Sudden Sam wrote:Prices are really reasonable, too.
