This schedule (on paper) looks better than most Raider schedules of recent years.

Oakland has had VERY early bye weeks for a few years in a row, which really sucks.
This year it comes in week 9 -- not so bad.

Potential is there for three cold weather games in December/January, though.
Not good.

But pfft.. we'll likely be talking about Oakland's 2010 draft by that time, anyway.

Opening with three straight division games, huh?

Can't say I can ever remember that being the case for a Raider team.

Nice Thanksgiving day appearance v. the 'boys.

Overall, the Raider slate looks decent enough.

After looking at our schedule I'm going to say The San Diego Super Chargers are going all the way. This IS our year. We just have to get past the Steelers and we will do it this year.

You'll be lucky to get past the Chiefs.

We are going to split with the Chiefs. But they won't be able to win the division.

Teams that go "all the way" don't split games against non playoff teams. Deal with it. You have another year of failure and frustration on your hands.

...if by slapping the Donks silly 52-21 to get into the playoffs, then beating Manning and the Colts 23-17 in the wild card only to lose to the evential Super Bowl champs was a year of failure..
frustration yes..failure, no freeking way.

had we had a play or two in the third quarter it might have helped

Sorry. I forgot that in San Diego a wild card game is like a Super Bowl for you.
