Speak for yourself, brotha.
really, you copy edited an apostrophe i accidently included in between bites of my breakfast burrito? must have another day off.
this makes it sound as if personal animosity was involved.
I don't infer that at all. He's not comfortable with DickRod. Period. Don't take that personally.
i didn't.
otherwise, if clemons was that fascinated by the rocky mts. what does cincy have to counter other than a gross, run down city?
A winning program that played in a BCS game? A chance to be coached by Brian Kelly, the next coming of God and G0d in college football?
if you spent more time reading and less time copy editing you'd have easily picked up on my point that clemon's recruiting visit was initially reported in that article as OMGmountains!, and ja the coaches are nice. if that's the selling point why even bother with cincy and whatever coach they dredge up next year just in time for clemons to resume his eligiblity. it was a quip, friend.
When will scU-M fan stop being personally insulted when some marginal prospect tells their program to get fucked? Unfortunately, even after 3-9 seasons, probably never.
no one's insulted clemons decided to leave. the coaches felt he worked best in their offense as a slot receiver and that two or three other players fit even better. he thinks he works best in an entirely different offense and went looking for it. good for him, genuinely.
the issue michigan fans have [as well as other fans when their teams are misrepresented in the national press] is when national hacks use their superficial understanding of a situation - usually informed by some other hack's superficial understanding - to wag their finger at something they're wholly clueless about. like the whole "loss of family values" meme they let some 20-year-old lazy malcontent write for them, paying no attention to the fact it was a claim leveled by someone so eager to play for his team's archrival toward a guy who gave him an unconditional release that allowed him to even play for evil empire. so ja, clemons is so uncomfortable with dickrod that they say glowing things about each other in the newspaper and he still hangs around schembechler hall and takes part in football activities not called practice.
