Heh. Depends on your definition of "professional." Do I get paid to write? Yeah. Do I make a living off of writing? Not just yet. My first cover story is coming out on June 4, though, so that should be a decent chunk o' change.

I actually had the option to do a concert review of Jimmy Buffet a couple weeks ago, but I turned it down. Being a music writer definitely makes you rethink the old saying "I wouldn't go to that show if you paid me." Sadly, it's no longer something I can say about O.A.R.

My definition of a professional is someone who is damn good at what they like to do. That comes first. Then you get paid.
