RACK Turner Classic Movies
Recently switched from Time Warner cable to AT&T and was just scrolling thru all 9,999 mostly shit channels (sue me, I was bored and I'll be damned if i watch an entire NBA game) and I came across Sergeant York on TCM, one of my all time favorite war movies.
Man, I hadn't seen that movie in at least 20 years. Made in 1941, that fucker is almost older than Wolfman.
Gary Cooper is nailz and I would so do Gracie.
Speaking of old war movies, anybody remember one called The Thin Red Line? That's another of my all timers that I also haven't seen in many years.

You know, I actually did enjoy that.
How can you send in the cavalry without infantry support?
Freakin' classic.
Re: RACK Turner Classic Movies
We get TCM on Time Warner Cable channel 59 and I watch it all the time. Too bad they don't have it in HD though.

And the best part about TCM is that there are no commercials. Zero, nada, none... and it comes with the basic cable package.
As for HD, I don't miss what I've never had. Can some of those old black and white movies even be shown in HD?
Seems you Cali's are also slaves to the Time Warner monopoly. AT&T invaded my 'hood with a deal I couldn't refuse. A free DVR, faster internet, and customer service people I can call who aren't from the Phillipines. All for less than I was paying Time Warner. So far so good, I'm a satisfied customer.

Those marketing gurus weren't allowed in here, they tried to set up a thing with the HOA but I dont think anyone went to it. Time Warner generally sucks, my wife has all the Dish things and stuff set up but in my den Im still running the Time Warner Cable because it gives me all the channels Id want. it doesnt have an NFL package but I dont watch the NFL so other than a couple College All Star games I missed, the rest I was fine withoutWar Wagon wrote:And the best part about TCM is that there are no commercials. Except when you need to use the head in the middle of a great flick.War Wagon wrote:And the best part about TCM is that there are no commercials. Zero, nada, none... and it comes with the basic cable package.
Then the whole no commercial thing is annoying.
