Whats in your office
Finally got the new abode built and have begun the painful process of moving in. This place has a room that I have staked out as "my office". Got it set up with MY shit thats no ones but MINE and has probably little importance to any one else.
Some of my cherished items include, but are not limited to;
Deer head mounts and other assorted horn mounts
checkered flag from Indy signed by multiple big time drivers
blown up picture of me gropping a group of FSU cheer leaders
heart shaped pillow they give you when you get by pass surgery
hard hat I lifted when I worked on the extreme make over home addition house here in Tally
Multiple John Prine CDs
And my favorite, a blown up picture of my son with Christian Ponder and Jimbo Fisher.
Curious to know what adorns others " private rooms". please chime in.

at work
2 computers, a bar, several thomas guides, some PTT radios and chargers, a lock box full of vehicle keys is just outside the office door. Only thing College football related is a signed Trojan Football from the 04 team and my degree on the wall
at home
my wife and I share an office, desks face eachother but hers has the monitor under the desk and she looks down in to it through glass on top of the desk, kind of cool, I have a larger monitor. The office has all kinds of USC stuff shirts and jackets from when we were there , pom poms and megahorns from different games, pictures, ticket stubs, all sorts of things

Re: Whats in your office
At my house I used to have a room with some Longhorn gear along with MY television, my game console, and foosball table. But after I had my 3rd kid, the "game room" was converted to a 4th bedroom in my house. Basically I have no "space" of my own that my kids don't come jack with. My small burnt orange collection is still packed in a box in my garage. The only collectible I have is an old school toy my dad bought me in about 1977. Little did I know I would turn out this way.

Now since I have a 3rd kid and my job is sucking lately, this is probably where I will spend most College Gamedays

My style is seriously going down Down the drain.

Framed Jersey from the RICE days.
Helmet on the desk.
Map of the US with all the places my wife and I have traveled together noted with pushpins. White pins indicate locations we have seen football games.
Models of planes I have flown.
Couple of photos of me with others in cool locals, including one with Erin Andrews at last years Oregon State v USC game.
Photo of my dad and I at a FSU game.
Signed football of the crew from my first college football game to officiate.
Other items that ya'll prolly don't give a rats ass about.

Re: Whats in your office
My home office is adjacent to my living room these days. Actually has been since I started recovering from cancer since I am single and live alone.
I have a large but rather cheap computer/office desk with plenty of drawer and cabinet space. A classic lamp that was used by my grandfather for as long as I could remember at his office, before he passed, and owned an Oil well head specialty shop and distributor. A number of pictures off to the side (One of just my daughter, one of us together on a park bench, a picture of my nephew, a picture of my eight year old god son who is named after me in Texas, and a picture of my 5 month old god daughter) along with a wooden Traditional OU symbol with Sooners below it on a stand that my ex wife's cousin made for me in is junior high shop class in southern Kansas. On top of the desk's mantle I have a miniature replica of Bronze Bruce (a famous statue on Fort Bragg), a number of plaques and trophies from charity poker events which I either helped run or won, and an old dip pen that was my late grandfather's. Above my desk are my degree from OU and two plaques from my high school (North Carolina before I moved to Texas) wrestling days and my school's back to back state titles. There's also various pen holders and letter openers as well.
Behind me is my couch, a coffee table, and the big screen LCD with a serious surround sound set up.

4 Computers. I have 2 Mac's and 2 PC's. I prefer the Mac.
Degree framed on the wall.
Waterford Crystal 2005 UT National Championship football. Gift from my wife for our anniversary.
Tons of books and music.
My office came with the house with built in bookshelves. It is pretty cool actually.
My son puts his Astro and Dynamo bobbleheads on a shelf. He also has an Aeros puck....thanks, Lefty.

Re: Whats in your office
looking around....a bunch of old student papers, water bottle, electric tea kettle, CU key chain with all my CU keys, one of those stove-top espresso things (stove downstairs), can of lavazza espresso, staring into one of those old blue imacs, my Asus netbook, coffee mugs, 250g hard-drive, empty tomato can with pens, postcard from Australia, new Fossil wallet i haven't started using, and Fruin and Monforts "New Media Reader". dust. my lucky OU pen. vintage poster on wall of german museum exhibit "plakate der avantgarde" from 1930.
at home i'm looking forward to the new season's multi-media experience.....with CU as my ISP i get ESPN360 free which rocked during hoops and will be perty cool for football. TV (and a 13" panasonic i pull out of the closet sometimes), streaming games on 360, CU or Nebraska games on the local radio...plus all the surfing and whatnot. home office (more like a desk) has a football addressed to me signed by the 1975 OU MNC team. Lee Roy and Dewey Selmon, Joe Washington, etc. I also signed it as a wee pup which i'm sure enhances it's value.

Huge piles of crap... pretty much covers it.
A job I did last summer required that I leave a report of what the crew did that evening, which I did. Yet, I constantly fielded questions the next day about said work progress. Eventually, I made a cover sheet to staple over the report, which in big letters labeled it "TPS Report."
I thought I was pretty funny -- I don't think the dork I submitted them to ever caught on, but everyone else got a big laugh.
